Every game I've watched this year of the Baltimore Ravens, Haloti Ngata has been a 34 end and has dropped back into coverage when the Ryan went to the stand up or "UFO defense",in which he was used as the middle linebacker. Only person I've seen manning your nose spot has been Justin Bannan, who has had a very good year in his own right.

 

Well it could have said:

After being discarded by the Jets, Chad Pennington helps turn a 1-15 season into an 11-5 playoff birth for the Miami Dolphins.

I guess I can see why you might want it seperate, but to me they are part of the same story.

 

yea tj is one but we got 8 16 and 24 and lorenzo neal

 

and we got crowder, ayodele, ferg, porter, roth, bell, hill, merling, langford.....etc etc etc

 

yea ngata has been everywhere and they done that even more recently and it really confuses offenses more so than u think

bannan has played a lot of nt too but thats prolly cause he cant drop back in coverage at all and all ravens do that basically (lol ngata) but just a point here too is that bannan has those bull**** stats that "legit" nt's dont get also. but whatever ive gotten a straight answer for the hype on ferguson so i completely understand where u guys are coming from

 

That's the big one to me. No-one around the league knows how good he really is. 100 solo tackles. Thats borderline amazing for a safety. He just makes plays.

 

yea i was searching up info earlier and i saw that and did a complete double take . thats amazing. u know its only because porter cant make the tackles. im joking

 

I'm aware of what it does, what I'm saying is that I haven't seen Haloti Ngata at the nose tackle spot this year. Once Kelly Gregg, whose a underrated veteran, went down with the injury, Justin Bannan stepped in and never gave that spot up. Ngata has been on the off the edge this whole year from what I know and Bannan has taken the spot in the middle. As you point out, Ngata has the athleticism, in which Bannan may not have, and is able to drop back and disrupt passing lanes.

What does this have to do with us discussing the positioning of your defensive linemen?

ok i see ur point as to how ngata was a bad comparison to ferguson. my bad. should've thought about the respective d's a little more but bannan does have 45 tackles with all those "other" stats ..

im just messing with u now. i get now the point u guys are trying to make with ferguson thats all i was looking for. not trying to start an arguement on how fergy matches up against our nt. who cares let the game decide
