Reading through the older posts in this thread make me wonder what happened to three of my favorite posters whom I have not seen around here in a good long while...Awsi Dooger, NaboCane and finswin56. If anyone knows, please let me know here or in a PM. Maybe I am just reading the wrong threads too and missing them.

 

Happy new year Marvin! Nabo.. Joe has been around, finswin56..another Joe, has been busy with family stuff, I spoke to him a couple weeks ago. Awsi, I haven't a clue.

 

He is the reason I wanted an 0-16 team for the lions this year. Last year, no one, and I mean NO ONE wanted the dolphins to win a game. Yet, now, there are dolphin fans who wanted the lions to win a game...seems wierd to me.

 

Regardless of this thread, I think Rome is a BIA**. Guy just blaberes. I know as much sports as he does. Guy just talks BS. Glad the world listens to his sports BS....

Rome = Worthless. never liked him didn't even like fake Rome on Any Given Sunday, but that guy is funny. I wish, I WISH i was a sports superstar. Because I would rip Rome all the damn time. I would. I wouldn't care what my agent says about PR, etc., publicity. Rome would be victim of my wrath.

The fact he said this, his "clones" are such blind followers, I'm surprised nobody called him out on it yet. i would love to call in, have the radio person screen me, then call him out on his Parcells comment. too bad we don't have audio.

Sports media is ripe with cats like Romi, pretty much hacks and little else.

The really funny thing is, most sports fans don't remember 10% of the garbage that guys like romi spew, if there wasn't a thread created about this last year, very few people would even recall Rome saying that stuff.

I suppose if there's a plus side to it,

it's the challenge to Parcells to stay on, and exercise the very patience that by coincedence, has come into question this week, and seeing this effort through (sooner rather than later), to a championship, or otherwise mattering on a scale of indisputable measure,

...which may, or may not come to pass in the next few weeks.

 

Funny and accurate. I kept waiting for someone to come out and push him to the ground. that would of put it over the top.

Thanks Marty. Nabo must be lurking more than posting though. He used to be quite prolific and I would not have the positive mind set of what I recall of his posts that I have, if they were not good.
