I know I am really shocked that we did not sign James Posey which was all the front office. He deseved to have a long contract and the money to. Pj Brown was great if he would come back and play for another years that would be great.

I like to think that the Lakers game is still festering inside the Celtics brain and they can't seem to focus against these less talented teams like the Warriors and Blazers. :D

Actually, I think the Celtics are just in a small funk. These losses do nothing to damage their standing in my eyes as the best team in the league.

Now, if they lose a few more...then maybe. But I can't shake this feeling that they simply are barely trying right now, and if they gave any type of effort, they would wipe the floor with the Warriors/Blazers.

To be honest I am thinking the same thing about the Lakers game. They just cany get it out of there head. Doc needs to pull the team together and talk to them. We need to make a splash or a trade.

Ainge was open to trades right after the Christmas game and said so publicly. The losing on the road thing isn't as big of a deal because they lost on the road plenty last year. No secret the Cs are a much better home team than road team. That's why I'm afraid if Cleveland gets 4 home games Boston not make it out of the East and I really want to play Boston again

But then again, who does Boston trade? They need role players and all they got is future picks, and their future picks are guaranteed to be bottom 3. Maybe 2012 1st rounder?

No no role player you mean like James Posey who needs him he not one of the best players in the NBA:pity: We got KG, The Truth, and Ray Ray who combine to be like the age of 452. They wont ever need a break young player like that can play 48 plus a game:pity:

We sign Eddie House and Tony Allen over James Posey. Now I like Eddie House and Tony Allen but lets be honest we could have sent some of there money James Posey way. It is not like he did not want to stay and it is not like he did not deserve the money he only helped us win an NBA championship.

I hope we see you guys there in the NBA championship games to. But to be honest if we make it there I think there is going to be a different turn out this time if we dont stur thing up a little/

Damon Jones is such a loser. He couldn't beat Ridinour, Lue, or Charlie Bell for any minutes. I hope Skilles benches his *** and only uses him in blowouts, if they get any.

Big win by my Bucks in San Antonio last night. Bucks might make the playoffs this year if we can keep Redd healthy.

Being a WVU fan as I am, I love Joe Alexander and think he could eventually contribute very big for the Bucks.

I hope your right cause so far he has been crap. He has had plenty of time to win minutes with Redd out. He was awful in the preseason. I hope he comes around, lots of teams wanted him in the draft.

You mean David Noel. He would probably do well under Skiles, but when the Bucks got Charlie V and a new GM that meant the end for Noel. He is a pretty solid D-League player.

If there is a single player that can make a franchise tank its Marbury. Just ask Knicks fans.....

    And Suns fans.....

    And Nets fans.....

    And T-wolves fans.

Just to make sure they tank the Knicks should give them Isiah as well. Explain what a wonderful GM he makes. :sarcasm:

It is not final he just wants to go there that does not mean we wont him there.

You really think they would give us Marbury and Isiah. How much you think we would have to give up for such a great package deal:shifty: I am willing to give away KG and Ray Allen.

You can keep KG and Ray allen. It'll be more fun to watch Benchbury drop the C's from Contender to Pretender.

ESPN's Marc Stein just said on Outside the Lines that the biggest obstacle is Marbury getting a buyout from NYK. "The NYK would probably be less inclined to negotiate a buyout if they felt Boston is where he would end up. They would want him to give back significantly more money if thats the case". No link, it was on TV. :wink2:

At least there are strong personalities in Boston who can try to control Marbury. In Dallas TO has no counter balance. Not saying KG and Co. will be successful, but Id give them a better chance of controlingl Steph than I give Wade Philips of controlling TO lol.

How could the Celtics even consider rewarding Marbury by letting him come to a serious contender like that? And why? He's been a bum for years. If Marbury wins a title I'm going to get physically ill. This kind of thing is what is wrong with the NBA and sports in general, Marbury should have to go to a team like Oklahoma or overseas, he can't be allowed to do what he has done and be rewarded by going to a serious title contender. I hope Karma destroys the Celtics season if they do this.

It's why he's still the NBA's best. After all these seasons, he's still putting 110% for the team.

Jackson tends to talk without thinking. This is one case. Sure, Davis isn't happy but he's still committed to the Clippers. He won't do something shady like backing out of a verbal deal or forcing a franchise to make a sign then bailing like some Dukies have...

I hope the Knicks do nothing with him and tell him to just shut up and sit home the rest of the year. That would be great. Then the lousy bum cant play anywhere and up his value for his next contract next year.

    Per Rotoworld, possible blockbuster brewing:

The Blazers are reportedly trying to acquire David Lee from the Knicks, which sources say could result in a three-way trade between Portland, New York and the L.A. Clippers.
In the rumored deal, the Knicks would send Lee to Portland and Quentin Richardson to the Clippers, while getting back Marcus Camby and Channing Frye. Knicks GM Donnie Walsh has denied such a deal, and it doesn't seem to make sense for the Clippers, but it's worth keeping an eye on.
    Source: New York Daily News
    Related: Marcus Camby, Quentin Richardson

uh...why would the Clippers have any interest at all in that deal? Eric Gordon has played pretty well, and if we do move Camby I'd think we could get something better back than Q. I did like him when he was a Clipper though, just not sure that makes sense at this point.

That'd be a horrible move. What the Clips really need is bench scoring especially with Ricky Davis on a drug suspension.

clippers just released 2 players. interesting time for that with this rumor going. i'd love to get lee for frye and or sergio. lee for the rest of the season would shore up the backup PF but im sure we wouldnt resign him. we could also trade him to charlotte with maybe outlaw, for gerald wallace. i'd love that even more

Pretty much why I mentioned they need backcourt not frontcourt help. Still, with Camby aging and Kaman who knows, it helps to have insurance but their big moves should be with backup SG/PG/SF.
