I didn't post, but to be honest, I wasn't to excited about the signing either, crow sure tastes bitter sweet in this case though.

 

Even I have some crow pie to munch on, I thought Pennington would be injured at least once this season and we would see either Henne or Beck...

And that 7 wins would be all we could hope for this year..ooppsie..

Yep. I said it. And at the time I was expecting another Green-like season--early injury and then on to the back-ups.

I'm glad that Chad stayed healthy and stepped up to the plate.

Now, it's on to beat Baltimore--a team we beat last season--the only team, and lost to earlier this year. They're pretty good now. I hope our "regular" offense can score some points as Baltimore's speed on D is impressive and gave our Wildcat a tough time of it.

Like a lot of people, I figured it made us a little bit better, like maybe we would win six games instead of four. I knew he was smart and hard-working, so I thought he would be a good mentor to Henne. I also thought Pennington's chances of making it through 16 games were maybe 5%.

Needless to say, we all got a little more than we bargained for.
