Jorge Sedano on 790 just said that the game has already SOLD OUT. Just for fun, I went to Ticketmaster to look. There are currently 39 tickets available. Good work, Dolphin fans! EDIT: looks like we had a return. There are 41 now.
Just saw this on the Herald's website and it is great news! http://www.miamiherald.com/598/story/829787.html
I tried getting some and the official site was basicly at a standstill. I was at the last playoff game and I believe they were $65.00 face value, now I hear theyre around $130. for cheap seats? I cant afford to go!
Guys, we have the league's fifth-largest stadium (75,000). It's not even a week after the holidays. We're in a recession. And the game sells out in less than 5 hours. Weak fan base my ***.
Hey! Welcome Ryan, glad you stopped in to visit. We have a forum for saying hello to everyone if you'd like to tell us about yourself and your fandom. Introduce Yourself
Thats ok, we aren't virgins to opposing fans being in our house. Those hated jets have a large showing here but I must say; It was sweet hearing OUR fans in Giants stadium chanting "Lets go Dolphins lets go" while the jets melted down. Bring your buddies with you, that way you won't be alone on that lonely drive home after we beat your team.
I'm sure they'll be some, but it won't be as bad as if - say - we had to host the GD Patriots Enjoy the game .... just not too much
I think you are not educated enough on how road teams travel to Miami Lots of people in Florida have migrated there and those that migrated stay loyal to their NFL team not Miami Miami plays in the AFC East where the other 3 teams play up North. Those fans look at trips to Miami as vacations. Check out a game, hit the beach, hit the clubs Yes there will be Raven fans but nowhere near the amount of Jets,Pats or Steelers fans that would be there Enjoy the game and from the games I make it down to Miami fans almost to a fault are very kind to opposing fans
I'm just saying that there's no way Ravens fans will have a signifigance presence in this game. Miami hasn't hosted a playoff game in seven years. Fin fans will be there in full force. You can't call them spoiled anymore.
I know there will be 10 of us Ravens fans down there for the weekend. Why not cheap prices and a great vacation spot and hopefully a win. It will be a great game. Good Luck.
I'll be there, Miami fans! Looking forward to a good game! Congrats on the marvelous turn around. I'd wish you luck, but well...
Absolutely! I get sick of the BS comments. Were like just about any other market besides the extreme football fan cities like Green Bay or Pitt. It's even more impressive considering the state of the economy and how everyone's been affected. I'm still out of "real work" but I'm draggin my but down for it from Tampa. Our fans are just fine thankyou!
I've been trying to tell everyone this for the last 10 years. If you field a good team the fans will come. If you field a good team with a great story behind it fans will fight to come. Take a look at KC this season. They have one of the better fanbases and there stadium was pretty empty for a few games this year.
I bought two of the last four tickets according to ticketmaster. They're nosebleeds but at least I'll be there. Hope to see you guys there. Happy New Year.
