I just heard him on WFAN - The Fan - Sports Radio 66 Homepage

I don't have a link. But he said """ He had no respect for Miami with all that high school sh## plays and trying to trick people """

What a loser.............. He's played about two times as many plays this year as Roth has and only has two more sacks, and we all know he can't play the run like Roth.

We were trying to sign him last year but not signing him was just one of the many things that helped this team go 11-5.

Now he can go home and "make it rain " and watch us on Sunday.:pointlol: What a punk.

If that is true, then he is just a sore loser. I think it was one of the announcers during the game today that said he hates calling plays "trick plays". I think he called them tendency plays. A play is a play in my book. You can either stop it, or you cant. IMO the wildcat is just a formation, with which we can run many different plays out of. That is not a trick play. Regardless, feels good to AFC East champs...

Perhaps is Pace's team had done some of their own "trick plays," he would still be playing and collecting a playoff bonus.

As it is, he sits at home, not playing football. In essence, a failure at his chosen profession, never fully reaching his potential or earning his paycheck.

But hey, he has his integrity right?

Afterall, the Jets would NEVER try to do anything tricky like a Wildcat formation, or a multi-lateral jumble to end the game... :shifty:

O Calvin Pace if I do rember your team was doing the wildcat to which they sucked at.

So Calvin you are saying the Jets are made of a Highschool offense and a popwarner defense sounds right.

Didn't he notice his team running (or attempting to) the wildcat? Or the fact that 80% of other teams are now trying these "trick" plays?

What an idiot, and like ASU said, a sore, REGRETFUL loser.

You signed with the wrong team bud. Enjoy the QB search.

If they're high school plays then an NFL team should be able to stop them. He's just an idiot.

    What a friggin cry baby!!!

And they actually tried that multi-lateral jumble twice at the end...
So glad he went for the money and not for the quality. I imagine, with an attitude like that he would have been in Sparano's dog house rather quickly anyways.

uh calvin, i saw your team running the wildcat several times? when are people/teams going to stop crying about this stuff. Its football, thats what you do. you do whatever it takes to win.

i think what pace was really trying to say is... "%&#$... I signed with the wrong team"

personally, im glad it worked out that way.

I guess he'd feel better if we'd have told him what high school plays we were running before the snap? And what does it say that he couldn't stop them. Oh, and great job getting drilled by a running back on the Fasano TD. Ricky busted him right in the chops. :)

It was Phil Simms that called them "tendency breakers".

I just heard it too. Wow.

Pace also said that we don't look like a division champion. Boomer Esiason said he must have been looking in the mirror.

Press conference at 10 AM with owner Woody Johnson and GM Mike Tannenbaum. They think it's going to be to announce the firing of Eric Mangini. I hope to God it isn't. I want Mangini to coach there forever.

They did try the wildcat on us and we shut it down, so he should think about mouthing off about trick plays when his own team tried them!!

Also if these are High School Plays, what does that say about your NFL defense?

Calvin "Who". I sincerely hope they get a transcript of what that little ***** said and post it in the locker room this week. Just because his friggen team went out and broke the bank overpaying for players that underachieved the second half of the season, is no one's fault but their own. I am sick and tired of the naysayers that keep calling the wildcat a "trick" formation that we run "trick" plays out of. Like a poster already said, it is a formation and you are paid to stop it. Do it and you earn your money, don't and you sit and home on the couch and watch a superior franchise continue on this year. I hope mangina goes home and gets a healthy dose of spring water to make him feel better, because next year, he will be stuck with Kellen Clemens and nothing else.

this win just keeps getting better. What a sore loser. I don't even remember his name being called yesterday.

Was the Ginn TD a "trick"?

Was the Merling pick 6 a "trick"?

Was the Fasano TD a "trick"?

    How about Goodman's 2 INT's?

    The blocked punt?

    Shut the F up Calvin.

Here's the thing though - It's not Pace's team, remember? He went to New York because he could be "just one of the guys" and not have to be a "leader."

I'd expect nothing more from a baby who wanted to blend into the team, rather than step up and be a leader. Pace wasn't even a captain on the defense.

If you can't stop the plays the other team is running, you deserve to get beat, period. And the Jets couldn't stop us yesterday. Pace's whining is just sour grapes at this point.

Have fun in Pilates class this week, Calvin.

Hahahahahahaaa!! What a sore loser! He's just mad that his team had no clue what was going on. Did you see how confused thier LBs were on the reverse flea floicker that Ricky dropped? They were running around with their heads cut off. It's a shame Ronnie didn't hit Haynos in stride on that other new play, because their defense was committed up the middle and it would have been a TD for sure.

Bottom line, the Jets were running the wildcat too, but they don't have Ronnie Brown.

And didn't the Jets resort to a trick play with 7 seconds remaining? AND FAIL!

One reason was because nearly every time he tried to rush the passer, he got stonewalled by Jake Long. It looked like a man blocking a kid....oh wait a minute...

Did we pull a fast one on the Jets with Pace? First, the Dolphins offered him a fairly high FA contract, but he wants to go visit NY too. The Jets think, oh he must be really good, Parcells really wants him, so they just up the anty, so we fold and say he's yours.

That's the thing right there. The Dolphins were looking for a certain type of player with specific physical and mental traits. Pace has the physical traits but not the mental traits. We lucked out when he chose the Jets.

he played on the jets, and the cardinals. he doesnt know what a division winner looks like...and he probably never will.

plus, the ran the wildcat twice, one time it netted them -3 yards. the other, they had to call a time out cuz favre was gonna cost them a penalty.

That's right. Props to our high school LT for dominating him. Props to our high school QB for throwing 2 TD's. And props to our high school center doing a pretty fine job against their All-Pro nose tackle.

Ironically, it may be their head coach who's working at a high school next season.

I love it when players, teams, and fans of teams, keep *****ing about how Miami runs gimmicks and trick plays like what we're doing is unfair in some way. LOL what a bunch of crybabys. The funny part is.. the only reason thay ***** about it is because they can't stop it! And when they try to run it, they can't!! LOLOL..

    WAAA.. that's high school stuff
WAAA.. they use gimmicks and tricks..
WAAA.. they don't look like champions..
    WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA.

I guess it was the trick plays that made him invisible because he was during the whole game .

Pace chose the Jets for various reasons one of them being playoff money. He was wrong again .

All the bellyaching sounds like rationalization to me .He is trying to explain the unexplainable...at least in his mind ....so he can justify himself.

He fits the typical mold of a Jet player .Me instead of Team
