As much as I dislike the fish and their fair-weather fans in So Fla (I live there..I know), this Jets team is not the same as it was about 6 weeks ago. I have no confidence in this coaching staff, but would still never root against them, especially with the playoffs still up for grabs. If the Jets do lose, here's hoping to an injury free game so that you guys will be healthy in the playoffs. With that being said...the Jets absolutely have the fins' number over the last 10 years or so, and I'm still waiting for Chad to lose a game for you, like he did countless times last season. I think today is the day, the return to the Meadowlands where that finally happens. I'll be heading out to the game in bout an hour or so..enjoy and good luck!
Maybe he lost games for you because the coaching staff was expecting him to do things that aren't suited to his abilities. I'm pretty sure he won't lose us a game. Not to say we can't lose, this should be a tough game thats close to the end. I just don't think Chad will lose it himself.
Yeah, this coaching staff seems to have a good feel for what each player does well and is very competent and playing to our strengths. That, along with sound, discipline, agressive, and never say quit styles of plays is what allows a team that is not as talented as another team compete with, and beat, that team. Thats why we are where we are and aren't really as good at putting games away as I wish we were. Today will be another test of nerves and emotions from both degrees of the spectrum. Just remember, as long as we are close, we have developed the ability to win these games. Must remember to keep the faith until its over!!!! (Tend to break less things around the house that way!)
No time like the present to change this little problem. The Dolphins will start owning the Jets again starting today. I'd like to give a pre-thanks to Favre for the AT LEAST 2 ints he will throw today.
Thanks, don't think of it as rooting for the Dolphins, think of it as rooting for Chad and against those stinking Patriots. Who wants to let them into the playoffs yet again?
