Just wondering. He's been posting here since they were 8-3;then POOF,he's gone. I would like his input to this most important matchup. This is the week to add "my" 2 cents. 54
Here I am.... I actually just post on the weeks that the teams play each other (do that is at the Pats and Bills boards as well). What is up? Where is the fun? What is going down? BZ
Really wanted to see what your thoughts are on the game this weekend.I know who you're rooting for so I won't ask you that. "IF" the Pats win, will the Jet's be wanting to play spoiler and do their best to beat the Fins? It seems like a double edge sword.Let the Dolphins win the division or help Mangini keep his job another year. And then there is the Belicheat issue(which is more personal). How would Mangini feel if the Pats take the division? I think changing the start of the Fins-Jets game can and will affect how your team is going to perfom at 4,IMO. Thoughts?
It sucks all around. The Jets are not going far in the playoffs, so making it is just putting off the enivitable. I also don't think throwing out Mangini is the right thing to do. If the Pats win the division, so what. They win. They always win. It will be tough to be sitting there with those Dolphin fans if the Jets are losing after a Pats loss, which is my worst case scenario. Deep down, maybe I want the Pats to win so the game will just be fun to watch. Just a spoiler, no more no less. BZ
Just someone with experience. Mangini was very smart, too smart for his own good. Over thought every move and didn't know enough to go with his gut once and awhile. BZ
I sort of agree with that BZ, Mangini was not a horrible coach, he was saddled with a interception throwing statue that was too big to allow to fail. IMO, Mangini was canned because Favre didn't like him, and they wanted Favre more then they wanted Mangini to stay so out he went, one of the few Jets HC's who left with a winning record..
Hey buddy. I couldn't get on here, the main forum has my "welcoming back myself" thread. Sorry I wasn't here, it was not my fault, wish you were here in Jersey so I could've shown you! Hope all is well and Congrats. Your team was better coached and your QB stayed healthy and didn't make the stupid mistakes he made for my team in 2007.
whoa whoa whoa! no excuse dude....favre was healthy too....he just isnt as good man....you know it as much as me....everyone is "sore" this time of year.....he wouldnt be there out there if he wasnt "healthy" he just needed to throw it to the "jets players" more often.........
Sorry dude, I didn't mean it to sound like I was complaining about Favre's torn bicep, I wasn't. I was just making note that this was Pennington's 2nd full season of Football, its an achievement for him of sorts. Two of the last three years now he's done it. I think we as Jets fans can finally stop saying that he's injury proned, he's turned a corner.
Well,I did'nt need to add my 2 cents.Good game jet fans. Now,if some of the finfans can start hitting that thank you button this way,all will be well.
