Season on the line: Favre or Pennington?

Who would have ever thought it would have come to this....?

At the start of the season I thought the Jets would run away with the division title.

I felt we had an outside shot of a WC game.

This game just goes to show you that "1" is a big number.

Had the Dolphins, Jets or Patriots won 1 more game.

Had the Jets kept Pennington,,,,

Had Favre stayed retired or played for Green Bay 1 more season, even if it was a back-up role..?

This game will be a huge game, perhaps more drama filled than an actual Super Bowl......(sort of kidding..., but close)

But that single transaction changed the division's total dynamic. Due in large part to Pennington, the Dolphins are in position to win the AFC East with a victory over the Jets on Sunday in the Meadowlands and could help eliminate the New England Patriots, too.

The Patriots and Buffalo Bills sure would have preferred Josh McCown running the Dolphins' offense.

Funny how Favre's arrival in the Big Apple struck fear in the other three AFC East locker rooms and front offices. Pennington to Miami was an afterthought.

 

I really think this game is going to be ALOT tougher than people think. I really feel were capable of pulling this off though

 

The Jets have our number. The onus is on us to reverse this.

 

That is a hell of a question. I would have to say it depends on what type of offense you are running. For us, the best pick would be Pennington. For the Jets, it should be another QB besides Favre. Not sure if all the talk lately is a smokescreen but it does seem that Brett is done for good.

 

Favre blew it for the jets already with the season on the line...
