...the C'Mon Man! section of ESPN's Monday Night Countdown? The segment they had of two of our defensive backs getting pancaked by a KC lineman made me embarrassed to be a Fin Fan. I think even more so than our 1-15 season last year.
They have been yacking that one up all day. It was Damion McIntosh who took them out bro an offensive lineman. He used to play for us remember? Nothing to be embarrassed about it happens.
Its part of the game...players get blown up all the time. If it happened all the time I'd be concerned, but the D was able to come through when they needed to and we got the W...that's all the matters and I'm **** proud about that.
that is not embarrassed at all... not at all... its a OWNED play by the Cheifs but to say you are embarrassed to be a phin fan cause of it makes no sense... We are 10-5 and a chance to go to the playoffs... If anyone should be embarrassed of their team it should be Rams fans... we in all seriousness the Lions fans and Cardinal fans should be the only fans embarrassed about their team...
He lit up Wil Allen first, then Hill 2nd...and there was at least 3 sec between each blow...very impressive. I still think Allen is hiding an injury, and am sure this block didnt help him recover! Was a very impressive blocking demonstration...two pancakes on two quick blocks (well shoves really) is quite impressive. Boy, me thinks you have others issues, if thats more embarrasing than 1-15 record, especially in a game we won!
I think the Clowns and Bungals fans also should be embassassed...and I make sure to point that out to them any chance I get.
textbook blocks - he may have been a little motivated by going against the ex team. All that matters is the scoreboard.
I was thinking the same thing while watching the segment... I thought "Yeah, that's like giving me props for lighting up a 9 year old....."
yep you can read a lil about it here Jamaal Charles*|*Texas,*RB*:*2008 NFL Draft Scout Player Profile Just look under the "News" part.
The Rams player cut into the referee, looks like the ref just kinda put his forearms up ready to take a hit... except he wasn't the one who took the hit...
Embarassed? Hey, man. It could be last year. Worse yet, we could be the Lions. The Lions. Lord have mercy.
Heh, I guess my sarcasm was completely missed. Believe me, I totally know the weight advantage first hand so I totally understand how it happened. It just made me cringe, laugh, and cry, every time they replay it.
[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6FwFgKstwdU]YouTube - Damien McIntosh - stupid little players[/ame] I didn't think so at the time, but this is actually pretty funny. You know the team had a great time with this watching the film.
I laugh every time I watch it because it ultimately meant nothing in the game except maybe keeping those DB's heads on a swivel next week to not get leveled like that again.
