Ever wanna do that? Just go somewhere and get the hell away from everything and everyone for awhile? Well...just what I'm doing. Booked my flight today, heading to Costa Rica for 5 days at the end of January. Rented a tiki hut on the side of a mountain in the rain forest. No TV, no radio, no phones, no bed, no walls....open air hut. Some views of the place: The "bedroom" The bathroom And just some of the views I'll have... All I need is my Indiana Jones hat and my whip...just me and the jungle for a few days. I can't ****ing wait.
Wow. My thanks was not really for a "thanks," but more as a "jealous" tag. Im sure you will have a blast. I have only heard great things about Costa Rica, hopefully you get to check out the ocean/sea (depending which side of the country you are at). Have fun.
bro, he said he'd be in the rain forest...plenty of ladies there however, he'll have to drive to the closest town with an internet connection to post...
What part of CR are you going? Was there last year. Had a pretty good time. Jaco Beach was pretty cool
Brother Alan have a great time. You may want to ask about your sleeping arrangements, because mosquito nets over your bed maybe a good idea.
I don't remember mosquitoes being a problem in Costa. Not inland and especially not on the beaches. I would look out for monkeys and huge iguanas and bandit robbers tho
so based on those pics, for $183(10% discount for opening a homedepot cc), I could build a whole entire resort? I AM in the wrong business.
When I was in the Marine Corps. I was stationed at Okinawa, Japan and you had to go up North on the Island for the rifle range. The first night I was too cool, and I said I won't need my mosquito net to go around my cot. Got no sleep, and they were big enough to carry me off.
**** that. One word. "walls" My boss, when I used to do deep sea fishing for a living had a wife from Costa Rica. He said the place was out of this world, he plans on retiring down there soon. Have fun man, and see what the local life is like.
I was thinking more along the lines of Tarzan. Lookout Inn Lodges Hey....just found out there IS a bed...and it has netting! LMAO!!!
man..that would be awesome to crash at ricky's pad for a week. maybe you can get his autograph. j/k,have a blast.
Pagan, you'll love it. I haave a co-worker who has property down there and has his son "run it" for him. He takes off there every chance he gets and always comes back with some amazing photos and stories. I would bring a book though. After awhile, things do tend to look the same. Nonetheless, have a killer time.
