Its great to see the fans came out in force. I 'm glad to hear some acknowledgment of tough road conditions for a change.

A fitting way to end the season at home. Let's hope they're playing another one there on wildcard weekend.

This is going to be a new generation of Miami Dolphins fans.. In the past we let the greed of moderate success dictate our attitude at the stadium.... We won games at home and have had a very laissez-faire attitude.. Now that we have hit the bottom and have seen this team rise from the ashes, the level of energy and appreciation to be playing meaningful football in December once again is cause for great celebration.. (and a bit of screaming)

Thanks to Sethdaddy I was at that game, and OMG the noise was sooo awesome in the 4th quarter. You still had a lot of your Polo shirt Exec type people who got there late and left early but for the most part it was a lot of people getting behind this team. I don't even care that half thouse people were making fun of my last year for wearing Dolphins gear, the fact that I saw more Phins fans than niners fan was a GREAT FEELING! Those that have been to a game before with me know that I love to Chant while walking around. I did it in JErsey and I do it at home. Ussaly its just me and The Mor chaning LETS GO DOLPHINS <clap clap calpclapclap> LETS GO DOLPHINC <clap clap clapclapclap> but man it was soooo awesome to hear everyone proud of this team and getting into it.

hey guys... lets hear it for your First Place 9-5 MIami Dolphins..

Its all about quality not quantity!

We're the hardcore fans, who think about this team way too much. We can't control the other people. We can't make season-ticket holders show up, and we can't make struggling families pony up $250+ for a Sunday.

What we can do, is be LOUD. Y'all did it. I thank you. My noise from a bar in New Orleans probably didn't rattle the Niners, but yours did. Good job!

Still lots of empty seats, but way better than earlier in the year or even last few years. Great to see the tipping point happening in Miami. Hope it continues.

Finally proud of our home crowd. I've been a season ticket holder almost my entire life, and it hasn't been as loud as it's been this year since Jimmy Johnson's days. Actually, it's been a bit louder the past few weeks. Can you imagine a playoff environment? O'boy.

The stadium was pretty damn packed, I noticed a few empty seats in the nose bleeds bit other than that it was pretty full from where I was sitting.

    and it was LOUD.

I went to the wildcard game against KC that night in Jan. 1991. You talk about a loud stadium....

Dolphins were down 16-3 in the 4th. Marino brings us back, throwing 2 TD's to take a 17-16 lead late. Deberg gets KC to the 43, and Nick Lowery kicks the game-winning 60-yarder right down the middle.....only it falls a FOOT short! Dolphins win 17-16.

Loudest game I've ever been to at Joe Robbie.

We've been waiting so long. Our last playoff win was the Lamar Smith game in 2000 (another great comeback by Miami). It'd be electric!

Not entirely on topic, but this video has an interesting "noise" at 1:26 into it. It is the NFL network highlight video and is pretty good. To bad gifs don't have audio.

you can "force" it to 1:26 if you are in a hurry : )

Here's a San Fran news bit that says the same thing:
    -----
The quarterback and head coach offered similar descriptions of the confusion at the end, when Martz had trouble getting in his message from the sideline.

"Sometimes when the crowd gets loud like that, it gets amplified through your helmet (radio receiver) as well," Hill said. "All you get is bits and pieces, and you put it together. I guess I put two plays to the wrong side. It was the right play, just to the wrong side."

Head coach Mike Singletary confirmed Hill's interpretation. "Sometimes (Martz) couldn't get what he wanted, and I understand that frustration," he said. "He wanted the formation to send them to the sidelines one time; he wanted the formation to keep them in bounds one time. And for some reason, that didn't happen."

I must say that on tape it was already loud during that last snap. Then when Porter sacked Hill, there was an explosion of fan noise reminicent of the louder college games I've attended. Thanks to all who were there!
