Hopefully you guys give singletary the job! IMO, he's earned it. Your 9ers are playing like a much improved team and i think most of it relates to singletary being the guy now.

I'd like to wish you guys luck with the final two games of the season, as well as next year and the future. The 49ers fans at the game today were great sports and displayed nothing but class. It's rare to see that. Class organization represented by class fans.

Pennington is an awesome QB, I think he can take the Dolphins to the promise land. It may not happen this season but you guys are A team on the rise and the league better take notice.

What did you guys think about S.Hill do you think we might have something with him?

Oh and the game was over when B.Simms entered the game! having Gore out was big enough, having Simms in was just to much to overcome.

I saw a lot of similarity between Hill & Pennington - he's a smart QB. He has nice feet in the pocket, I know he took a few good hits today but he avoided 2-3 others by using his head & feet to avoid the sack and he didn't turn the ball over.

Future looks bright for your 9ers.

The 49ers played hard and moved the ball well. They'll be OK and could definitely challenge for the division next season. Good defensive game today.

 

If singletary gets the job and gets the ability to "shop for some groceries" as parcells put it once upon a time he will have that franchise turned around in a hurry, I think.

 

I am hoping he gets the job but I want to check ou all of our options first. I think we are only a few good pieces away from being contenders.

We dominated with time of possesion but could not punch it in, that would have been the difference if Gore played.

You guys do have a very tough defense!

 

I think there is a very good chance he will be our next head coach, who really knows though.

S.Hill is allot like Pennington and I think we found ourselves a QB of the future.

 

You folks have been great at talking football and are definitely welcome here. But what is with some people over on the 9ers' message board? They act like we are division rivals trolling their forum. A few getting their panties in a bunch because we were still there discussing the game. They even got defensive at Con's keys to the game and FFiC's post. Are they always that unwelcoming to other teams' fans? They then call Muck a troll? I think we have been nothing but courteous to the fans there.

Either way, your team is getting better and better. A few breaks here and there and you would have won. Mike Singletary has them playing hard, and they found a QB in Shaun Hill. With a few more pieces they should become much better next year. Hopefully you all will stay here and talk football. Its always nice to have other teams' perspectives.

 

I hope we keep both mike's as well but we have had bad luck at keeping OC over the years, so I guess we will see how it works out.

If we were at full health i think we could have beat you guys but coulda shoulda woulda.

Some people are just immature on our board you just have to ignore them. everybody on your board has been great and I respect all of you guys for being such good sports and not rubbing in the loss.

 

Remember, we weren't at full health either--without our Starting WR and both Starting OG's.

 

Why would they think your crazy? The kid has the tools to be a good QB. He has great pocket presence, intelligence, good accuracy and a good arm. One of the few questions I have with him is how will he transition to an NFL offense - going under the center and not shotgun full time. Also, what height does he check in at the combine with. I wouldn't complain about starting a franchise around him though.
