I've watched Bostic play and practice for 3 years and while his physical talents are great, he lacks work ethic and doesnt dominate like he should.

Thats not good, But that will change or he will never play at Florida. Everyone else will be working alot harder and will have about the same talent. From what I have heard he will be a gator. Thanks for the info

I am getting queasy about all of these distractions.

Personally I think we should be done with Mullen but it looks like TT wants him in the booth .

Mullen is busy assembling his staff and recruiting...a couple of Gator recruits involved as well.

Is he going to have time and will we get a max effort from him when he already has another job ?
    Gator Clause

BTW I wont be too disappointed if Tebow does not win the Heisman .That would be another distraction to deal with

I wouldnt throw stones at that glass house my man..Meyer did kick a meaningless FG and try to throw into the endzone with the game in hand. How easily you forget.

It was the second game of the season and the next game was a big won vs. a SEC rival. I have no problem with the Gators getting a little more work in.

Plus the Gators took a lot of crap from UM so it was nice to give a little back for once.

Well Woody was in the middle of the biggest rivalry in CFB history....these kids didnt go to camps together exchange phone #'s or even say good game....back then those teams "truely" hated eachother, so I have no problem shoving it in the face of the team up north.

    LOL,
No there was a poster at the 'other' site back before the OSU UF NC game named DBoston80 (or something like that). He was the most obnoxious fan ever. Just kept saying how great OSU was and how UF had no business even being on the same field... just purely instigating at every possible chance leading up to the game. Then once the game was over he was gone, never to return. Lets just say good riddance.

Never heard of that one, everyone talks about a different guy but I cant remember the name.

At any rate if he/they wouldve watched the 02 title game when the show was on the other foot vs the Canes. How easily people forget.

It was a FH member who was just the worst example of fan you could think off .Very rich language .The very definition of troll

A buckeye fan .We had a bunch of them before the last Natl championship game that Florida was involved in..

Never heard from them or saw them after the game except for the one that still with us...who is Welcome BTW ...just like the Sooner fan that posted in this thread

If you detect some bias against Buckeye fans it derives from that time.

Yea, Ive heard the stories but they were all about a different guy but I forget his name. This has been explained to me to justify the OSU dislike from certain posters/Mod's.

Is what it is..Ohio State has never been so unprepared for a game since Cooper was here, Troy Smith gained 20 pounds of fat and the OL blocked like the 08 Miami Dolphins. Florida played with passion and Ohio State played like they had already been crowned. Sad because that was one of the greatest OSU teams ever and they played their worst game on the biggest stage.

Water under the bridge, Texas is way better than us but if we play inspired (ala UF) and they play flat (ala OSU) we will win.

If he goes to ND he will ruin his career in my opinion, they might be competitive but never win a national title game up there.

How many of those fast "gators's" would be eligable to enroll in ND then meet the acedemic requirments.....

Not picking on Florida, if OSU had those same standards we would be another run of the mill team. Meyer do yourself a favor and stay.

You shouldn't cause Florida has higher academic standards than Ohio State. Also just because a kid can play football does not make him an idiot. :pity:

Actually not to jump in here...but...part of the reason...a big part that Meyer did not take the ND job in the first place is that they would not give more exemptions for non qualifiers for the football team. Florida had 8 non qualifers in last years class and 7 the year before, fr more than most D1 schools.....Florida...the football team that is...is not known for tremendous student athletes coming in...but too be fair their graduation rate is very good and they are in no danger of being listed as not meeting the APR standards. Florida had a great APR score of 966 (top 5) with the D1 average for football being 922....but no they were not brain surgeons coming in...read into the results how you like...either Meyer is doing a great job getting these guys to class, staying out of trouble...OR they are getting beneficial grades because they play football......it is what it is...........

BTW...for the record...Ohio State's APR was 925...only slightly above average, bt they had 2 exemptions in both of the last two years.

Thats not true at all. Florida had one guy not qualify last year and that was Dee Finely who has already recommitted to Florida and Florida was perfect the year before that. Please get your facts straight

Not saying he would get all of them, but you seem to think if a kid can play football he is an idiot. There are some who don't make those kind of grades however you don't make excuses you just go out and get the best guys you can. Charlie Weis is doing a great job of bringing great talent in. Florida actually has got a couple of guys who were going to go to Notre Dame.

IF he can win at ND he'd be a legend though. That's a hard thing to pass up, especially when it's a place he already loves.

    It'll happen eventually

Seemed to be disagreement about ND being a harder job in another thread. Here Meyer essentially says just that. Grow up quickly kids, go the ND so you can watch your dad every Saturday ;)

I posted an article in here however he was not cleared by Doctors and had no time to get ready. Now he will have both. I actually think there is a good chance he will dress up for the game and be limited.
