Quick uestion. When you can scan your plyayers on D, is their a button that goes back? For example. I'm on the RDE. I scan to LDE. Can I go back to RDT with having to cycle through? I'm going through defensive strategies but I think they take to much time and I only get 5 seconds pre-snap.
For playstation you hold down the X button and move left and right. I don't know what it is for XBox. Just quit picking the wrong guy
hes not picking the wrong guy. hes doing defensive playmaker on multiple defensive linemen. Hold B. Then point in the direction of the guy you want to select with LS. This also is useful on kick returns. You can select one of your blockers from the opposite side you plan on taking the ball, and while the kick is in the air you can run him all the way over to the other side of the field. He can take out one of the gunners and leave you an opening to make a move. i figured out a good stunt for containing the pocket and forcing an interception. call you favorite zone defense with 4 defensive linemen rushing the passer. Hit LB, then LS down. Hit RB, then RS up. Then take the DE on the right side of the screen and hit A, then RS down and move him over about 2 body lengths. here's how it works. the left side is contained by your other DE. the DTs swoop in opposite directions outward, causing the line to clump together. You want to control the defensive end on the right side of the screen. When the ball is snapped, sprint straight down (dont angle your attack). Watch the RT and any TE or RBs that may be blocking. Find the right point to attack and cut in towards the QB making sure he cant escape from behind. If he tries to step up he will run into his linemen. Any quick run up the middle will beat this alignment, including the Qb sneak and QB draw. Be sure to only use this when you dont mind giving up a 10 yard run.
Great idea, do you have enough time pre-snap? I've got a website with loads of stuff like this. Works in practice mode, but I get 10 seconds pre snap to set this up. Online? I get 3. This is exactly why EA needs to let us create ****ing plays! They're such dumbasses... Online gaming with the 360 BEGS for this kinda ****. User creativity is a selling point.
Yeh me too....I played a guy better than me record wise, and couldn't do anything against the zone. I would drive on him and my drives would stall out. What killed me is he wasn't doing anything different he was doing the same thing over and over, and THIS is where the highlight function is SUPPOSED to come into play. I knew the ball was going to Watson (NE) but yet my guys still left him open time and time again. And he kept passing to the TE's, it was pathetic. I hate getting beat by people because they know how to take advantage of bad AI play, etc. So anyways he had me beat I tried to concede he refused, I called him a dik and quit. Hey, no one likes a sore winner either. I get tired of playing these punks that have absolutley no sportmanship whatsoever. The lack of respect online is terrible.
i guess its after level 16 that you need more points to level up. i just went over 2100 points and didnt level up.

Yeh...safeties couldn't keep up with those two wideouts at all. Then he did play maker with Edge, stuck with his game plan...sux...I was up 17-0 at the end of the first quarter, comes back and makes it a game.
aboome. u glitch. when the rest of your offense failed, you went to the rocket catch both times to get the lead. you can save that stuff for your money leagues and tournaments. i dont wanna play against that ****. rocket catches are MONEY plays. they are the very definition of a glitch which can be exploited to win. Just because you perfected it, does not mean its legit. And just because something has a counter, that doesn't mean it isn't a cheap glitch. sorry, we don't all buy the guides and glitches. either play fair ball, or dont play.
you were probably trying to stop his offense using different coverages. you cant cover anquan boldin, larry fitzgerald, and steve breaston all at once for more than 4 seconds. Figure out how to get the ball out of his hands in less than 4 seconds, and you should be able to get a better shot at knocking the ball away or forcing an errant pass. I'm not telling you exactly how I did it. But I was able to **** his timing up.
guides? nobody said any thing about this being a sim league. also ur mad that u aren't on my level did u ever consider putting a buzz zone or playing man to try and stop da strafe catch? i bet u didn't. ur just being childish because im playing to win.(and you've never beatin me). shoot ur lil short pass should be consider a glitch since they also can be exploited for a win no?. ps. we should make some guidelines(that we all agree upon, not just gish) to help and bring me down to the level of the compition
try a dime cover 4 man and play with the mlb and follow egde o and stunt ur line in order to get pressure.

theres a difference between you not being able to stop drags, slants, and curls; and me not being able to stop you from abusing a glitch in the AI to rocket up into the air to catch a wildly thrown pass. give me a break.
u must be joking curls are the most glitchy route in the game. the cpu can be standing infront of the wideout and the pass will still be completed the only way to stop it is by user controlling the cb and playing the ball ur self. and it aint my fault ea ****ed up another madden.
i dont see the strafe being any worse than a curl route if u want to ban da user catch u should ban curl routes and F A G d's (aka play making dline men into cover)
curl routes are easy to stop. dont give me that BS. not banning user catches. im banning rocket catches. DONT ACT LIKE A FOOL. You know what you are doing is a glitch. Curl routes are a standard route that can be defended with coverage. Rocket catches can only be defended with a specific counter defense that requires you to sell out your entire defense to do. Even then, the WR jumps 20 feet into the air and SNAPS to the position of the ball. Listen to this discription of how to do a rocket catch, and then try to tell me that its just like a curl route. Would you like it if every play I ran was either a screen, a fake punt run, or a FB dive? Would that be any fun? Should I do that? Sorry. But IMO thats the type of play that ruins an otherwise great game.

Gish, I'm with you 1,000%, I can't stand glitchers and cheesers, if you let them they can ruin your online experience. I used to get so upset, but I have come to realize that they are miserable POS that can't be reasoned with. So I just ask for a friendly quit and when they decline 90% of the time... I just run clock and move on to the next game. Knowing that they will be working at McDonalds when they are 40. The only thing that still bothers me is that I have a lil' one now so my spare time is very scarce... so it really sucks when I have to spend it playing against a football illiterate cheeser.

i didnt even lose to him. its just a league match. i lost 3 in a row to hostile and didnt say ****. really though, E, you can play aboome and not think hes glitching or cheezing; because he wont do it unless you can stop the rest of his money plays. I had no problem losing to him the first 10 times. Then the last few he has been resorting to glitchier and glitchier stuff. Last time I got mad at him, I didnt say he was doing anything illegal or unfair. I was just letting him know that if hes gonna call me cheezy, he better run a better offense than that. Now he comes at me with rocket catches, im drawing the line. and UM all day doesnt rocket catch. He just throws streak routes and user catches. nothing wrong with that. it doesnt abuse any flaws in the AI. and you can stop that without even changing your defense. everyone who uses the patriots does the same thing. the deep bomb is usually the only play they are good at. they will try it early to get a lead, and they will try it late to come back on you. just get in his face and dont let him roll out of the pocket.
I dont do that rocket catch thing, i just threw it up and use my receiver to run down field and catch it, i dont wait for the ball to get there lol....o and if anyone wants to play send it .......
its not 56 games. theres only 5 league members right now. meaning you will play 4 of them 7 times each. That 28 games. plus playoffs. im not in any hurry to get the season done. i just want to be sure that everyone plays at least a few games a week. ill be looking forward to serving you a monster dosage of Willis McGahee.
