this man carried the ball an average of close to 40 times per game this year for UCF. Regardless of his competition that is huge and will translate well in the NFL. Give him an NFL Oline and hes going to be special. Dont know why hes leaving cause i really dont see him going in the 1st 2 rounds. I wish him luck and hope we pick him up.

yes hes says hes turning pro now, which for the life of me i cant understand. But i wish him well.

This man is a work horse and has proven he can do something ronnie cant, he can carry the rock and stay healthy. I belive 14 games is 1 longer then ronnie ever played healthy and he didnt split the load with C williams.

this man is going to be a stud, even though he could use some work catching the ball outof the back field. I like him better than any of the backs we have on the field other then ricky at his peak.

like i said, regardless of who he played against (and he was 100 times better than everyone he played against) 40 carries a game is monstrous, and hes going to make someone very happy in the 2nd or 3rd or 4th round. I say we make him ours.

hes turning pro for sure, i think hes a mid 2nd but NFL gms reportabely have him as a 2nd-4th round pick?? i think he'll be similar to gore and go in the late 2nd but I dont think its worth taking him unless he falls to the 3rd which is highly unlikely.

    Draft Kevin Smith!!!

Since I am getting drunk over the 24k news, I figured I might as well be the one to start this thread. If he is there in the 3rd, I dont care if we have ronnie, take KSmith.

Oh, if he is there in the thrid... you HAVE to take him. He would be rediculous value at that point... and Ronnie's status is unsure. Drafting McFadden would be rediculous... but Smith in the late 2nd or 3rd would be fine by me!

As of right now what are our 2nd and 3rd round picks looking like? Do we have a mid 2nd from the chargers?

They way i look at it the 32 pick overall is still a 1st rounder but cheaper, so I dont see us using it on 24k.

he should have stayed in, too many better backs will be ahead of him.

If we draft a running back in the 1st 3 rounds I will be very upset. Unless rb is far and away the BPA in round 3, we better not even sniff the position until round 4 or later.

my guess is someone told him he wouldn't get to the 1st round regardless of how he does next season. I keep reading that people think that if he averages 40 carries again next year it could hurt his draft simply because coaches will think hes going to break down earlier.

believe me I wish he stayed in and i am sick at what could have been next year for UCF but he has to make his own choices. You just wish he hadn't said he would stay and then change his mind. Sounds like someone in Dolphins history to me (only I dont hate kevin).

I keep saying this man will be the real deal in the NFL and if we can pick him up late 2nd early 3rd we should do so

so does that mean ronnie is going to be 100% the day practice starts? DOes that mean ronnie will finally go 16 games without getting hurt (because hes 3 for 3 so far).

Does that mean ricky is guaranteed to make it to camp without being suspended again?

Does that make any of our RBs starters on any other team?

With ronnie's history and all the injured RB's we had this year i think stockpiling rbs is not a bad thing

It is when you are talking about using a pick on a RB in the 1st three rounds on this
    team.

He's easily the second best runningback in the draft, IMO. The one's "ahead" of him are only ahead because of the media. But Kevin Smith is the complete package. Whoever drafts him will have themselves a steal. I wouldn't mind grabbing him in the second round as insurance for Ronnie Brown.
