any chance for a place on the Dolphins for this guy ? Just looking at the Fresno St/Boise St game and they are noting that this is his last game at Boise, except for the bowl game.

Where could he fit in on a Parcells team ?

Do we need him? We drafted Parmele and have Williams, Brown and Cobbs I don't see the point in drafting him.

Nah I don't think so. Cobbs does it all for us. Besides we just extended Cobbs contract.

Lotta people thought we didn't need RB's in the last draft but we still drafted 2 of them. Still, Johnson's kinda light at 199-200 lbs and 6'. And he doesn't have the kind of speed you'd think a lightweight back would have. Unless he packs on 20-25 pounds, I don't see much of a career beyond a 3rd down pass-catching RB.

Ian Johnson is a great player. He blocks FGs, he runs hard, catches the ball well out of the backfield, he is a very clutch player, he is a patient runner who knows how to wait for blockers, and a great leader in the locker room. However, they say he runs about a 4.4 40 time, but he seems to get caught from behind at times. He also gets stuffed way too often. He got injured in his sophomore and junior season and hasn't played as hard since. All in all he may turn out to be a productive player in the NFL but I don't see him as an upgrade. Unless we wanted to use him mainly for special teams.

Not even close. Cobbs is a special team ace, and I really think he is a solid running back, and a solid running back at wide receiver, as he is in the wildcat.
