Just heard on Sky sports, the commisioner for NFL London is in talks with the NFL to bring another game this year to London, and we should get a response within 10 days to see if London will host the game and what teams if so....

Heard it could involve a matchup with at least 1 team thats currently in the playoffs.

im almost 99.9% it will NOT be a dolphin or giants revisit. But could be a good result for the NFL.... Again.

    Also.

If any of you dolfans are on facebook, join the Miami Dolphin group! Its gettin quite Big!:001_rolleyes:

No chance. I think it may be Cowboys or Redskins or Bears involved.
Im suprised it isnt going to Germany myself. Great if its true though. Means i dont have to go there.

Oh, and I think the games in London are a good idea but they need to make sure they have a better pitch next time. I'd also prefer if the Dolphins sat this one at this time.

Dolphins or Giants won't be returning. I could see the Cowboys or the Patriots being involved.

There will still be more Dolphin fans at the game than Patsie fans. Guarantee.

Gotta wonder what it would look like to send a team from Boston, called the Patriots, to play in London. Sorry, random political history thought.

All of the NFL teams are supposed to take turns playing in the UK.The Dolphins and the Giants have met their obligations.

The Dolphins were lucky that the game didnt affect their playoff aspirations and they got a lot of brownie points from the league because they lost a home game .

Yeah Soccer and Football field grass are two different worlds. They need to really work on laying grass just for the event. You could not even see the players shoes in some areas of the field.

If the NFL wants to try to get teams around the world for a true championship...then good for them. But it sucks for the fans that do not have the $$$ to travel overseas to see the game. When any team goes there to play, fans are shafted here and the teams are shafted a home game.

Maybe they could consult with Pittsbu..... oh wait baaaaad idea, sorry.

Anyway, I think the Packers, Pats, Cowboys, Indy, San Diego would be some good choices.

After the crapfest that was NYG vs MIA they will be looking for 2 higher power offensive teams to generate some excitement im sure.

    Back in Miami
    Anything to keep griping.

What makes you think there's any chance of that?
The NFL said specifically that EVERY team will play a game overseas in the upcoming years. There's no chance of it at all.

If there is a London game then that means there will be more than 1 game played out of the USA.

Last year they were saying that China, Germany and Canada would be at the top of the list

Canada did not get a game last year because the Grey Cup was in Toronto and the NFL did not want to go to Toronto the same year(probably a Buffalo game)

They will not go to China this year due to the Olympics

I beleive either Canada or Germany get a game so if London gets one then that's at least 2

On a different note I hope we will go to a 17 game season with the 17th game being at a nuetral site around the world and even in Los Angeles

I dont know. we all know IT IS ALL ABOUT CASH and The fins are the second most favored team in london behind the steelers (According to a London journalist guest speaker on Sirius before the London game this year). If the NFL thinks Miami will be the highest revenued team in London, you can bet they're going t o be on the top of the list of teams that have to go. Now, thats not saying that if we are chosen to go, it will once again be our home game that we have to give up, but because of the Dolphin fan base being so large in London, that isnt too far fetched to happen again in 08 as well.

I heard the Chiefs were 'interested' in playing one of their home games overseas.

It wont be the Fins dolpns13. NFL have already stipulated that if its going to happen on a regular basis then all of the NFL teams will have to participate in the overseas games. Dolphins are bottom of the list now as far as im aware. Maybe that wont apply to pre-season games if NFL brings that back again i dont know.

While I think it's great to try to expand the influence of the game elsewhere, I really hate how we got screwed out of a home game (and this is my last year in So Fla so last year of season tix). The league, of course, is just in it for money. But if the Premiership decided to make a team like Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool, or Manchester United (the big teams) play a game here in the States, there fans would be pissed as well.

the NFL has a hard on for the Giants because its such a huge market size. remember in 05 when N.O. had to play their home game against the Giants at Giants stadium, and in the same year when we played N.O. we played them at LSU... The NFL gave the Saints the ultimate screw that year. Then they make us give up our home game to play the Giants....It kinda makes me sick

IMO the NFL should stay in the states where it started .If fans from other countries want to see games they should fly here it makes more sense and creates less problems. I mean its like taking one round of the British Open and flying to an alternate country to play it. WHY???
