Wow McNabb had an unreal performance today against the Cardinals, a team that spanked us pretty good.

Brian Westbrook was a big part of it.

    But McNabb isn't going anywhere.

Sure wish Ronnie Brown could play like Westbrook.....I point this out because some have compared Ronnie to Brian, which I do not agree with,

The problem is they run the offense THROUGH Westbrook. It seems we run the offense through different personnel each week. Ronnie is behind Westbrook for best all-around back its a shame we don't use him like the Eagles use Westbrook. I mean we should give Ronnie at least 15-20 Carries a game and at least 5 receptions. He can do damage on screens we have seen it before. At Least Cam realized what he had with Brown, last year the offense ran through Brown he was such a vital part of the offense last year.

Westbrook def. had a huge game with four TDs. McNabb had a good game.

I don't agree running an offense only one on player, though. I mean sure give the guy a lot of carries or a lot of plays or whatever but that offense is reliant on westbrook.

He is their best player by far.

I agree but not every back is going to be a brian westbrook.

It take it one step farther.
I think we need to see the combination of Ronnie and Ricky carry it a minimum of 30 times a game..

You're absolutely right. But I'm trying to say when a back has that kind of skill set and is that dangerous you want to involve him more. Look at the Saints with Bush he isn't much of a RB but he is a playmaker and they design plays, move him around just get him the ball because he can make plays. I wish Miami would do this with Ted Ginn Jr and Brown.

I think when you look at the talent level that each possesses, the comparison is there. They both have exceptional hands for their position, they both can run between and outside of the tackles and they both have good vision. As BuckeyeKing said, the offense doesn't run through Ronnie Brown due to the team not reliant on a single player, instead spreading the wealth. In Philadelphia, its the opposite. Brian Westbrook is that offense. He catches from the backfield, split out wide, in the slot, he does it all. He even returned punts in his early days (anyone remember the 85 yard punt return on the Giants a few years ago to steal a win at Giants stadium? I do.). I think Ronnie Brown could have similar production to Brian Westbrook if the offense went through him. I think the comparison is a fair one but I also don't think there's a back out there like Westbrook. I think he's a guy that you can put in any system and he won't disappoint.

of course. do you know who the last person for the eagles to return a kick back for a TD besides.. well, it was westbrook but I think it's Demps now with the game against BMORE the other day?

And to further comment on my post before. I made the comment about not every back being as good as westbrook and how they're reliant on him. The reason I made that comment is because eventually westbrook will not be there. They've already traded for Booker from us to try and see what he can do. He worked out nicely last night IMO but I wouldn't want my offense to run through a player. Because once he's gone how are you going to find his exact replacement? It's going to be hard.

Also, if you statistically look at the eagles this year they are more of a passing team than they are a running team. I think. Of course it hasn't worked out all that well...

I was going to go with Brian Mitchell haha.

Lorenzo Booker is not the answer in my opinion. I think he's far from it. He's a guy, who in my opinion, should be in the slot.

They have always been like that from what I remember. They were always 60/40.
