This will be the first time we will see both of these Dolphin legends on the field at the same time since last season... Should be interesting to see these guys out there. Who will you be rooting for?

being that i'm somewhat an eagles fan also, i suppose its better that the boys win tonight. but really i guess i'm hoping for a tie, just because that would be insane

If this was a poll, I think you would see a landslide win for Zack Thomas.

Seems like Taylor really burned some bridges this offseason... Do you all still want his jersey retired and his name added to the ring of honor?

In time it will happen, but he burnt his own bridges.

To me Zach was the team player, Taylor was the me player.

I didn't necessarily agree with what Taylor did but one off-season won't overshadow years of great play for this team. I hope the Redskins win because I can't stand the Cowboys. This game will depend on how strong Portis' knee is. If he is given trouble by the knee injury, the Cowboys will win this because Portis won't be able to move the ball laterally. I think that will be the key, Portis and the Redskins moving the ball laterally on the Cowboys but effectively as well.

YES! without a doubt. he was half of the heart and soul of our team for years.

sure things were ugly in the offseason... but that doesnt change anything that this guy did for us. he was incredible, week in, week out.

Id be surprised if there was anyone who wouldn't want his jersey retired, and his name up there...

he's a legend... and a miami dolphin for life...

I am a fan of both players equally.

I am going for Dallas. Redskins losing gives us a better draft pick.

Is JT even playing? Isn't he still injured?
And yes. I'd still want his name up there. I'm not convinced we've heard what really happened in the off season and I'm not sure we'll ever know the truth. Its a bunch of he said she said and its time to move on.

    I'm with you on this.
I love them both. IMO JT did nothing to hurt this team. Like you said we'll never know what went on behind closed doors.
I wish they were both still here this year. Our D would be awesome with those two out there..

JT did a lot for the team and the community and has never deserved the garbage thrown at him by some of you. None of you really have a clue what was going on behind the scenes and all of these conclusions about JT's selfishness have little to no basis in reality.

    I don't think he's actually playing anyway.

I hope they both have a good game. I was always a little more partial to ZT, but loved them both none the less.

Zach Thomas. No one thought he would ammount to anything because of his size and he was a force for the Dolphins for years. So much heart. So much energy. So much passion for the game. I miss Zach, and if the Dolphins were to be out of the championship picture, I would want the Cowboys to win it so he could get his well deserved ring...

give me a break NJ. No words can describe how good Jason Taylor was for us. One of the bets defensive players in NFL history and won us a game single-handily multiple times.

I hope in the next couple of years when these two "hang em up" the Dolphins go the extra mile to welcome them back into the orginization and let them retire as Dolphins. Zach would be an incredible coach if he chose, kinda like a Singletary, maybe a little cooler headed. Taylor maybe not but he would be an awesome PR guy if nothing else. He gave the team and the community, (Man of the Year) 120% for years. Its actually the one thing I am REALLY dissapointed in Parcells about, the way JT was treated was unnecessary IMO.

I will be rooting for washington only because they have always had a special place in my heart. I will be hoping both play well as both are classy and gave us their all......

I'm rooting for the Redskins, though I always prefered Zach (over JT)

my brother is a cowboy fan so I had some hard years in the recent past..hehe

  27. If for no other reason the worse the skins do the better of a draft pick we get.
