Yeah I understand that. Still, if win the rest of our divisional games (or at least the Jests and Pats) we could still grab the division no matter the outcome tonight. Pats win either way (well maybe not, Jests get ball). I was kinda hoping they lose only cause I hate them more at this point in time, but they both are high on the suck meter. Hate to see the Pats get some confidence like this though. Favres face is priceless! On to overtime, see what happens. The Jets coaching staff got mauled in the second half even worse than NEs did in the first. Just utterly unable to adapt at all either offensively or defensively. And that last drive was horrid. When in gods name will anyone realise that Prevent defense is horrible and should never be used in a close game?
He always looks like that though. Calm, thats what makes him so dangerous. Lets see if BF has yet another dagger left in him.
Why didn't the Jets attempt a field goal from the 44yard line? Would have been a what 60 yarder, with 1 second on the clock... worth a try.
that won't happen though. we really could have used a loss today for them. that prayer pass is gonna come back to bite us in the arse
i would much rather have 2nd place than 1st place THIS YEAR. We need to keep our standing in the draft in check so we can have a decent pick in the 1st round.
next weeks game vs the pats now will be huge for miami to gain leverage over new england in the wild card race.
jets are now 3-1 in the division and 7-3 overall. it will be tough to get ahead of them, but its still doable.
if we wish to take ourselves seriously, we should beat oakland easily. we gotta stop this thing we have with bad teams.
The thing where they seem to let them hang around, threatening a win for damn near 60 minutes?!? Please stop that crap!
yep we're gonna have to play some dayum good football to take the division from them. that means going most likely at least 5-2 in the last 7 games to get to 10-6 including a win over the jets, or going 6-1 and going to 11-5 if we are to lose to them. if we go 10-6 and that doesn't include a win vs. the jets i dont think theres any way we win the division
I hope Tennessee does us a favor and beat the Jets next week, and Miami takes care of business against Oakland and New England. That will leave us tied with the Jets at 7-4, with New England taking the backseat at 6-5. I would mention Buffalo, but I think it's pretty clear where they stand. 0-3 in the East with 3 more division games ahead, Buffalo is all but done. Let's go Titans!!!!
