They have cost him so many TDs on kickoff returns its ridiculous. He could be mentioned with the likes of Hester if it weren't for all these stupid flags.

Anyone got a highlight reel of all of his returns that got called back on a penalty?

Im sure he's frustrated... so many things happen on a kick return though. I'd think penalties are easy to come bye as a result. However, unfortunately for Ginn, it always seems to happen to him. Whats that... 3 in his career now?

The real frustrating part of todays though, was Ginn was pretty much already gone by the time the hold took place... it was unnecessary. Someone shoulda really tore a strip off charlie anderson when he got back to the sidelines.

The good thing though, Ginn's moves and speed were out in the open for all on the staff to see... so hopefully they dont ever think of taking him off returns again. Its about time he's back on kick returns. Im okay with him being off punt returns, its easier for him to get killed on those which is nice to protect him, just wish we had someone better for the job than Bess. I like the kid, but he's just not cut out for return duty.

Bottom line though, this team still won. Im sure Ginn doesnt care much about that play anymore.

at the end of the day, they're still a unit. if 2 guys aren't doing their job, it shows. but it won't damage that those guys who ARE doing their jobs, are doing it properly. i'm sure he would've loved to score a TD on EVERY return, but it just doesn't happen that way, and we're a hell of a long way away from perfect. i totally get where you're coming from, but it's a bit silly.

Behind the play? It was? I remembered it happening as Ginn was about to go by the Seahawks player, I could be wrong though.

no, you're right. I believe the holding call was even with Ginn. Obviously Ginn would have scored anyway but it wasn't 5 yards behind the play.

    I missed the play. :(

I wish blocking (and tackling) would improve on special teams. I think that lack is holding returns back as much if not more than penalties.

Well, one thing that I hope was learned yesterday, is that Ginn is by far out best returner and shouldn't be taken off KO returns...It was a rather useless penalty as it appeared to me that it wouldn't or didn't affect his ability to score, but we're just not good enough to make those kinds of mistakes...However, the unit, as a whole is certainly improving. I like Bess, but he can't seem to get past anyone that hits him...he may get a move or two on a guy, but if he gets touched...he's down...and he really struggles with that first guy...

At any rate, I don't think we'll see Bess back there much on KOs unless Ginn gets to be overused in the offense. I certainly wish we had someone else beside Bess, but we don't...
