So much for an injury free game which we could not afford.

DJ Williams also out for 2 weeks but need to verify that.

We hope our new man Ryan Torain steps up in Cleveland this week. You guys shut our running game down big time and sent two to IR.

Talk about beating us up.

Pittman is a big loss IMO. I like the guy, runs hard and never complains. Looking forward to watching Torain run though.

That is a HUGE loss and agree with you. He was the only one doing anything. Our 3rd down guy with 1-2 yards to go. He would get them.

Now we have no choice but to watch Ryan run. He is getting a nickname of "the train" but until he actually rolls down the tracks, I'm keeping that one to rest for now. He had 7 touches I think for 4 yards.

    Ooooooh. Stand back.

He MUST improve in order for us to get a running game back. I know it was his first NFL game and all but My Goodness.

    14 yards rushing?

    The WHOLE GAME??

    14 yards?

Gotta go bury my head in the sand. Kudos to your defense once again for an outstanding performance.

:insert beating my head on the wall and kicking the cat smiley here:

Sucks to hear.. good to hear that Williams isn't on IR though. I never wish injuries upon anyone and I hope you guys can recover from losing two backs...

But maybe you guys could bring back Tatum Bell............ :tongue2:

Some are even questioning our release of Portis in trade for Champ. Wanting him back now. ROF!!

Friggen young punks don't have a clue.

That trade did both the Broncos and Redskins some good.

The Denver fullback seemed to be effective. the one that scored late in the game, and had over 100 yards receiving. Very, Patrick Cobbs kinda day.

That's my boy from Arkansas, Peyton Hillis! I was hoping we would get him in the later rounds last year. He's a powerful lead blocker and has very good hands. He'll be around for a long time and will be very productive for the Bronco's.

Yeah, theres ZERO doubt that Shanahan found a serious weapon there. That kid just made a carreer with those receptions.

Denver, I think, needs to spend a high draft pick on a running back. I know their whole m.o. is that they can plug anyone in and be successful, but a top notch back brings much more to the game imo.

And I never feel good about injuring people to the point where they are on IR.

Unless of course, its Rodney Harrison... :shifty:

I hope they're back for you soon BM.

I don't know who I'd rather have. Portis was shut down against the Steelers. Champ (when healthy) has a chance to shut other teams down. Putting players aside I'm usually a defensive minded person but in a way you could say that running the ball is kind of a defensive tactic (running the clock anyway).
