Bills... cause if we win that puts us in a tie with the Jets. Which puts us in position to get out of last place next week.... :)

Our only realistic path to Playoffs is via Wildcard IMO. A loss by the JESTS is a step in that direction..

Of course its really just cause I hate the JESTS with every fiber in mybody, and in fact it their standing were reversed, I would still be rooting for the Bills.

The logic answer here is TIE!!!, but that's highly unlikely so I'd say Go Bills!

i don't root for any rival team but i always root for the team that's highest up to lose with one exception. us.

i agreed with mroz' post.. i don't like being in last place but even if we're not last in the divison where does it get us this year? i realize it's got something to do with FA and whether or not players want to come in (obviously more want to come for a winner) but realistically we're not "winners" yet, though we have won.

I despise the JETS with every fiber of my being (yes, even more than the Yankees). So I'm rooting for anyone who is playing against them.

  8. Love the Yankees reference -- I'm a Mets fan, so I despise the Yankees, too!!! :tongue2:

i dont understand how you could come to that conclusion. we're 2 games back in the division and we've beaten both of the teams that are 2 games ahead of us.. with the talent in the afc i say winning the division is more likely than coming in 2nd and getting wildcard

I can actually get this game.
It's killing me, I don't like either team.
What ever helps us is my choice for loser.
I just can't pull for either. It kind of makes me sick to my stomach to pull for anyone but the Dolphins.

I know that a Wildcard spot is what most people are looking for but there will be a lot more competition for those spots than the 3 teams that the Fins have to compete with to get in the playoffs as a division winner. So assuming the Bills and Pats lose then the best team in the division is 5-3 and even if the Fins lose they are only two games back at 3-5. If they lose and the Bills or Pats win then 6-2 is going to be a lot harder to catch than 5-3 at 3-5.

Basically all the Fins have to worry about is the Broncos and best case scenario I would like to see Miami at 4-4 and the rest of the division at 5-3.

But can you really go wrong with the Jets and Bills beating up on one another? :wink2:

Also I really hate the Texans because they may get to 4-4 today when they should be 2-5 playing for 3-5 right now and the Fins at 4-3 (that game was huge and it is really haunting the Fins right now and looks like it may for the rest of the season).

    Also Go Packers! :woot:

Yes I hate my home state team.

i think favre needs to buy washington a new house after this game. he owes him at least that much by now. (and the commentators make more excuses for favre... sigh)

We probably should be rooting for the Jets.

If NY beats Buffalo, Indy beats New England tonight and we beat Denver today, it creates a 3-way tie for first place.....with us only 1 game behind it. Plus we have tiebreakers over BUF and NE.

But man, I can't bring myself to root for the Jets.

i just like seeing favre struggle so much. the only way i'll accept a jets win is if favre gets at least 3 more INTs.. but that shouldn't be too hard :)

The Jets are killing themselves with penalties.

I guess I must be softer than everyone else on here for the Jets because I hate the Pats more than anyone else in the division.

Also I'll be the first to say I was wrong because it appears Favre has been a letdown in New York. They could easily have the same record with Penny there if not better.

annnd the jets secondary saves mangini from what originally was a very boneheaded move not declining that penalty.

The Bills certainly don't seem to want to win this game.
