I really don't care for either one of these teams but,Florida just plain kicked their tail. Georgia likes to talk a bunch before these big games (Gators,Tide) and just can't seem to back it up.The way better team won this one.
I thought this was a great game.. I can hardly believe how little attention this thread got during the game.. all the gaterz musta been off playin' somewhere. I LOVED the time out with 30 seconds left, I hate the bulldogs and Florida is my once a year answer to that.. except "last" year.. I was glad urban crier was still going for it for the FULL 60 minutes, and had smug satisfaction at the cold bellicheat coaching tree handshake at the end. The only two things that could have made it better, would have been if Ga. had beat the toilet paper on their head tribe of lil' nicky satan "roll charmin!" or another 3 scores to make it an even 70. Didja hear Tebow tell about not wanting to give ga a reason to celebrate(no td's).. "and if we had not put in all the new guys, they wouldn't have." Now.. take care of Vandy, get to the Championship game and smash the crimson criers.
I LOVED the time outs Meyer took with the game over and just made Richt sit on the other sideline a little longer to look at the scoreboard. Just kind of a little nudge, "we remember" Great game. I don't think Georgia looked that bad. They just were not quite perfect and on EVERY mistake the Gators made them PAY BIG TIME. Truthfully I think Richt trying the onside kick so early kind of deflated his team. Basically told them right then... we can not stop them, so need to get some help somewhere. And IMO, that was like blood in the water for the Gators. As for championships or any of that crap... I want to wait until the end of the schedule before I worry about that. We need help and that is IF we win out too.
All hail Nick Saban.....Tide defense is ALOT stronger than Ga. Nick is a master at stoping the spread. I worry about LSU alot more than the Gators. Don't look at the Tide through Nick hater glasses and you have to give him and Bama and their due. #1 ranking in a rebuilding year with alot of freshmen and sophs.The way Nick recruits ,it's gonna be alot of years,in a row of this.
Not really... Tebow hasn't played against a defense like Bama's yet. Fla dline hasn't seen a offensive line as physical as Bama.
well, when you find some buddies that worry more about lsu than the Gators, you bring them back here so we can laugh at them next.
You think LSU's Defense is better than UF's? I think not Sir. UF is a complete team because they have so many ways to beat you. If you watched the game yesterday you would have noticed how Rainey and Demps (and Brandon James) were non-factors... and they still put up 49. What do you think Bama is gonna do offensively to outscore Florida?
Honestly, Vandy, South Carolina & FSU have me more concerned than Bama. Well, maybe not FSU. The intensity will be there for that game. Vandy and SC...if the maturity that Urban has been talking about is fleeting, we could have trouble with either one of those teams.
Saban didn't coach Fla.....that incentive isn't there. Hey..cnc66...long time no hear from..on the other site. Not here to talk smack,just I'm proud of the way my school has bounced back,considering the idiots we've had coaching the last several years.The Fla/Bama SEC game will be great...Old school smash mouth against new school spread..could be one for the ages. No..I don't think LSU is better than Fla....but LSU has a personal grind against Saban that UF doesn't....kind of like what Fla had against Ga. yesterday.Hope for a great game..If we both get there. glad you found your way over.. yea, it wouldn't be nearly so bad if it wasn't for satan there, but on the other hand, I can seriously understand your feeling.. you KNOW you will be in the NC hunt every year again. After struggling that program HAS to have you excited. I think this win over Virginia was important for the U. Many are hoping that this was a turning point for us.. I sure hope so.
No one has denied that he is a hell of a coach and ahell of a recuiter(Afterall he has mastered the art of bull****ing.) That being said, He's a giant douche and I wouldnt cry at his funeral.
Every talks about the incentive of LSU wanting to get back at Saban etc...and I can see that in the fans and I know they will be intense. Which can be a factor in the game. But do the LSU players really care? I mean at this point, isn't mostly everybody in that program a Miles guy now? So why would they care about Saban going back, they hardly knew the guy if at all...Even if they had been recruited by him and then he left I doubt there would be too much animosity, because they won a championship last year. You mentioned earlier that Bama is young, and it's true. I think a Bama vs. UF would be a great matchup, and I think the tide are a very good team. That being said, I think the team being young could be a factor in the game. Who knows how they handle being in that atmosphere for the first time, not to mention when they play a team that is much better all round than anybody they would have played yet.

I don't know,...can they beat Fla?sure..can Fla beat Bama? sure....What alot of people are saying is that Fla. is going to destroy Bama.That isn't going happen. I hope for a great game.
Technically neither is in the game yet! It does look like they are both going to play though. However, no offense, but I am hoping the Gators can win a blow out. DOUBT it will happen though. Then again, I was not sure UF would blow out UGA either... so I guess it is possible.
Oh no way will Florida blow out Bama, Bama is a good team. I think UF vs. Bama is gonna be the game that UF vs. UGA was supposed to be. A close game and a clash of forces. UF's best chance is to jump out ahead and get the younger tide team down on themselves and make them play catch up the rest of the way. Can't wait for this game.
