They are doing it now because the run was getting stuffed on first down earlier. To soften up the D they need to make them back off by making a couple of nice passes

 

We're throwing on 1st because we can't run it, and that's what's working right now.

If we could get some consistency up front, we could really make it difficult on Denver.
