FOX Sports on MSN - NFL - Cutler's finger is fine after week off

Cutler is preparing to face a swarm of Dolphins defenders led by linebacker Joey Porter, the league leader with 10½ sacks.
"You've got to keep your eye on that guy," said Cutler, who's thrown at least one touchdown pass in his last eight games. "Their whole defense is getting pressure and causing a lot of fumbles, which we have been prone to the last three or four games."

    Well away from here
Don't underestimate this O-line. It is very good at ginving Cutler time to throw back there.

We've yet to see Joey on a confidence tear like he used to go on in Pitts, and after the Buff game, i think he's just started one in south florida. He's going to cause the Bronco's fits all game, not sure if it will be enough to win, because cutler can move the ball very well, but it shoudl make for a close entertaining game

Clady has been a bright spot on the line and we are happy to have him. We like this guy and he should have a very promising future.

Jay is good out of the pocket, so if you can contain him then it could be a very long day for Bronco fans.

We get Tony Scheffler back and he is a good tight end. Torain is coming off his injury as well and we are hopeful that we see some production from him.

If the Broncos do not turn the ball over this week, the angels will sing and the heavens will rejoice across Bronco Land. LMAO

That is a HUGE problem for us lately offensively.

The defense has forced fumbles but the lack of recovering those fumbles is also a problem. :tantrum:

I like Torain a lot and Clady is going to be a very good one if he isn't already.

I tell you what. There was a huge deafening silence as we all saw Jay holding that finger. We don't have good depth at QB and this is a scary thought in itself.

They X-Rayed Jay's finger at halftime and when they said it wasn't broken, we could all breath again.

    My mom. LOL

We have Darrell Hackney on the practice squad but they have not moved him up.

Mike Leach who is our long snapper and tight end would be the emergency guy.

And you may not know, but our awesome rookie receiver Eddie Royal could pull the duties if necessary.

I liked Hackney in the pre-season. Watched him a couple times. Big guy with an arm if I remember correctly.

Many of us are confused why the move from PS hasn't occurred yet especially after Ramsey is out now.

Patrick took a lot of heat from pre-season and the fans have been on his case.

I lost a TON of respect for Cutler after his comments about comparing himself to Elway.. Gimme a break

The Denver offense isn't very good. Cutler hasn't been very good. I have cutler on 3/4 fantasy teams, and he's been a huge disappointment after a booming start. I even benched him for Pennington (Brees is on Bye). No running game, and injuries to the TE, and Royal/Stokely have been a big reason too.

I think our lackluster D is in prime position to make big plays.

This was debated heavily on our boards and it was all taken out of context and blown out of proportion.

What Jay said was he thought his arm strength was better than John's. That's it. The media and even Bronco fans went ballistic thinking Jay was being cocky and saying that he is better than Elway.

I personally got defensive about it on Jay's behalf. We constantly hear the "there will never be another Elway"

So what are we supposed to do? We Bronco fans are supposed to just accept the fact that we will never have another great HOF type QB? I for one hope Jay shatters John's old records and gets 3 rings of his own. There can be better. I sat in 'Ol Mile High Stadium for years and watched Elway's career. He struggled just like any other QB does in the beginning and Jay is already on pace to out do John.

Many of us like Jay's passion and attitude. As mentioned, we are sick of hearing the "John's shadow" remarks regarding Gus Frerrotte, Brian Griese and especially Jake Plummer who was thrown under the bus on several occasions.

    Just my :2cents:

It's the turnovers that makes our offense look so poorly. They can move the ball.

If they can hang on to it.
