I've been playing Madden online with no problems. Then today, I go to hop online and my system tells me that it can't connect and to check my settings. I did and it said my connection was enabled. I am lost, I'm using a wired connection w/ a router that will connect wireless. But why wouldn't the wired connection work?

Usually if you restart the console it will solve the problem. I connect wirelessly, I've had a similar problem a handful of times and a reset has always worked.

Sorry, I really don't know then. You could try restarting your router.

I've had so many wireless issues with my PS3 it's not even funny. I ended up having to turn WEP off in order for it to work. Why? I dunno. Not sure it it was the last patch or what.

    Check your routers DHCP settings.

Well, I powered down the router and PS3 for like 5 minutes. Then hooked it all up again and it worked, weird. But thanks for the replies. I'm back in da game!

it most likely was the DHCP server in the router. if you leave your pc connected all the time, then you wouldnt nec have an issue with it. only on a reconnect, hence when you fired up the ps3
