Ravens Insider: Cameron deserved more time in Miami

Cam gambled and lost. When he took Ginn and Beck he spent a lot of capital. Whatever wriggle room he had as a 1st year coach was spent. he had to make those decisions work and he couldn't. Ginn still hasn't proven to be a viable WR much less a number one WR. And Beck is riding the pine.

If Cam had gotten Brady Quinn and still gone 1-15 I think he keeps the HC job. Then the team and the fans have hope. But the team goes almost winless and the our top 2 draft picks look like rubbish. No way Cam could or should have expected to keep his job. He might be a great OC but as a head coach he makes poor decisions.

 

How about the Ravens make him the HC for a year and let's see how it turns out.
