Listening to NFL right now, they are speculating that Charlie Weiss or Romeo Cromell could become the new Head coach at Miami. Both are Big Parcells Fans.. Weiss could come back to compete in the NFL against New England with Bill, and Romeo has no contract extension, and we can ask to talk to him and offer a NICE package for him.. Not sure if this will happen but I would like either as the new Head Coach.
I wish we could get Garret but i dont think he is leaving Dallas. Im not too crazy about Romeo, there is just something about him. Out of the two you stated, I would take Weiss
How can you honestly say no to either of these.....personally would be shocked that either leave where they are, but if for whatever reason it was announced one of them was the next HC of the Dolphins no way you can be against it. What did Charlie Weis do to get a bad NFL rep?
We don't want Weiss. Crennel would be another matter but he's under contract and the Browns don't even have to let us talk to him if they don't want to.We'd have to surrender some picks to get him and that ain't gonna happen.
Weis, with one s, wouldn't be my first choice, but I wouldn't be totally opposed to it. Romeo would be a great pick-up, but I'd still love a guy a little younger.
No we would not. He does not have a contract extension and unless he gets one ASAP they really can not in good faith not allow Miami to talk to him about the oppertunity. It would leave a bad taste in the mouth. I think that we could give them something to be nice and make it more likely but its not required. PS Weiss has a great record at college and a good REP in the NFL.. Tough and the players like(d) him..
I would love to have either. I REALLY DON'T THINK IT WOULD HAPPEN. Cleveland would or SHOULD keep Romeo (they would be real DUMB if they didnt) Wies has somethign to prove in ND he is having a great recuiting year and it is his alma mata. The offer would have to be VERY good to get him to leave.
