Well here it is... I wanted to share with everyone my wedding cake from my 2nd reception this past weekend in my hometown The Cuse. I was a little disappointed that they didnt do the whole helmet in frosting through the entirety of the cake, but all the same, I still loved it and made it a point that it was the first thing everyone looked at.
dood/ette either your wife/husband is the most awesome dolphins fan alive or you owe them a hell of a life for that cake . congratulations!
When ever the day comes that i tie the knot, i hope i'm as lucky as you to have a sweet cake like that! Great stuff
Albeit my little bro is a Ratriots fan and wanted to brong his Brady jersey and hang it above the cake.. We would have had a fire in the hotel if that happened
I had the liberty of burning his 2002 superbowl champions shirt in my firepit when he accidently left it at my house. We danced around it lord of the flies style.
My wife had pictures of our 1st ceremony and reception (in Jersey last month) at a table when people walked in, I directed them past the picture table to the cake table for first looks and then back to the picture table... I got priorities
My wedding story... We (she) set our date in January 1995, she wanted September 23, 1995. Uh oh, that's football season. Dilemma. OK, I think, don’t even think about saying anything. When the schedule comes out, BINGO, bye week. It was a sign. On a side note, I sent Marino an invite. He was a no show. Still haven't missed a game since 1992, thanks DTV.
Very nicely done bro That's one of those things in life most of us look forward to doing......... Oh, and congratulations on the Wedding as well bro. Very attractive bride you have there
Thank again all... She tries calling it a "grooms cake" (although I dont know what the difference between a grooms cake and a wedding cake is, but I feel that takes away from the importance of calling it a "wedding cake".. so its a "wedding cake"
Yeah, its one of those little "Consolations" they throw at us guys, kindve like, "Thanks for playing and being a good sport." Not to brag, but at my wedding, my wife gave me a little consolation gift (Dont go there Sam)....at the reception, my brother-in-law rolled out a Brand Spankin new, full 3-piece Craftsman Roll-away.... It has been pretty much "Yes Maam, No Maam" ever since
forget the cake I want to see pictures of the bachelors party. any strippers dressed as miami dolphins cheerleaders?
I dont think I wouldve remembered anything anyway.. i always used ot be scared to look at my sent text messages the next day during my single years. Once in a while one slips out... Its funny when I get them though... All the I love you brother's form my drunk friends always cracks me up
Your missus is a special lady for letting you have a "grooms cake"! I might ask my missus if I can have a similar one... "Hun!?.....I've seen just the cake....." !THUMP! "Hello?! where am I?! why am I posting here?!" Congrats on getting hitched though mate!
Congrats and best wishes. Great cake, kind of sets the mood. Two questions; 1. Are the diamonds she is flashing a payoff for the cake? 2. You couldn't talk her into matching Dolphins jerseys for the ceremony? P.S. Did you get any Dolphin tickets for a wedding gift?
Nah, that was the x-box... Which still doesnt even come close although i do have the xbox Tried getting introduced to the fight song but she wasnt down... We got introduced to eye of the tiger instead Nah, but my bro (Ratriots fan) wanted to get me and him tickets to a Ratriots game.. I told him only if we can get into screaming distance of the ratriot sideline so I can point and laugh at them
