[URL="http://www.miamiherald.com/616/story/365132.html"[/URL] In review of all the 'on air' comments Keyshawn made on ESPN on multiple days, and other hints, I could see him being on the roster on 08. I At least we would have a veteran reciever without losing picks.
Assuming we keep M. Booker, I see no need to bring in Keyshawn in a mentor role. Since we'd already have a veteran WR on the roster. Does Keyshawn have any history of mentoring young WR's? I'd only bring him in if he could contribute on the field. Hagan will be in his third year, making Ginn the only truly young WR on the roster in need of mentoring.
No thanks Keyshawn. Stay in the studio. I always thought you were over-rated anyway. If running of the mouth scored TDs, then you'd be a hall of famer.
ive been saying this for weeks... For the right price, and not 5 mil a year, i wouldnt miond having him at all... Well, maybe 5 mil a year...but def not any 15 or 20 mil garuanteed
No No No there is a reason he is retired right now... Lets keep it that way. I know he likes loves Bill but we need some new talent and blood. not the rehashes..
5 Mil a year for an overrated cancer that has been out of football for that long? Put that money toward a young FA WR, you know, someone who will be on the team in 2 years. Say NO to Keyshawn.
Keyshawn needs to find another gig after all his eloquince on ESPN this year. He never could run, except at the mouth, and even that has not worked very well for him. IMHO
I agree with you, but im just saying that if we are going to pay Marty 3.5 a year, we might as well release him for Keyshawn at 5 mil a year. Keyshawn is much more productive than Booker IMO and the extra 1.5 mil wouldnt matter much
id take keyshawn as long as he can keep his gap shut. hes a good possesion receiver imo. still dont know how we was drafted number one overrall but id take him
As if he has the capacity to do that! He's been out of football for a year, and was replaced by a rookie. No thanks!
I said it as soon as Parcells was hired, that Keyshawn would be involved with the Dolphins by Training Camp, just in what capacity was the question, WR coach or player. He has a man-crush on Bill and will be in the fold somehow.
i just said that in another thread... Ive seen enough of the circus over the last 17 weeks... Im surprised we didnt find a way to lose during or bye week
Let Keyswan partcipate in camp and if he can beat enough people out sign him for a reasonable price. If he is too old, too out of shape, or too expensive, pass on him. We need recievers if he can beat out our current guys i say get him in there. Short contract, no garunteed money, if he can provide us with a way of moving the chains we should sign him. We really are not in a postion to be picky. Take the best tools out there at the best prices. This is the kind of things Parcells was hired for to make decissions on calculated risks that will benefit this organazation. This is why Cam/Ran are unemployed, theyre calculated risks failed more then suceeded.
