I can't wait to see what it is.....last week at the end of the premiere show we did see one shocker with Mrs Petrelli. I wonder what else could be happening ?
Tonight was better then last week. More structured. Did Hiro call that blonde girl Pikachu? lol. Sylar was pretty good tonight too. He's such a ****ing nutjob. I still hate Peter and Claire. I kinda wished that they played out HRG better. Instead of so quickly giving us answers about him, revealing himself to be good, I wish they would dragged out his mysteriousness. And the Haitian is back!
Hiro is great, but Sylar makes the show for me. He's by far the best character, and the least cheesy.
pretty predictable but still enjoyable to me. Looks like everything is going Mama Petrellis way so far.
The Good: -Sylar is hilarious, i've always wanted to like him, now we get the chance. -Claire, while being a bad actress, is so hot. Love it. -There was little to no Mohindar, and he never said "research!" The Bad - Peter and all things peter. I wish they could kill him off somehow. - Hiro, while complaining the whole last epsiode and beginning of this one to Ando about staying his friend and not turning evil or whatever, didn't seem to care at all when Ando 'changed the plan' and whacked the haitian over the head and said he was tired of being Robin. Shouldn't he have screamed "nooo" in a high pitched voice?
Sylar along with Hiro and Ando make this show. Claire and her cheesy acting is getting incredibly annoying and they need to do something interesting with Peter he is far to dull for someone that has so many powers.
I thought it was another solid episode last night. Sylar... Zachary Quinto... is outstanding. The job he does with that role, is nothing short of spectacular. Im glad hiro and ando are locked up on level 5. im tired of listening to them. Why not just let them start speaking english so we dont have to read sub-titles. we get it. theyre japanese. let it go. Im a bit disappointed they killed off the German so quickly, I would have liked to have seen more about him and his ability first. Oh well. overall, im into this show all over again, and im happy about that!
Really? I am enjoying Peter as a guy who has so many powers he thinks he can fix everything, however he ends up messing things up even more. I think it is the perfect thing for his do gooder character
I agree, I've always liked his character. I'm interested to see who this guy is that Traci/Nikki went to visit. The Parkman thing is kinda lame to me, another future painter??
Episode was a bit better. The future painter that only paints Parkmans future is LAME. I thought the Villains are extremely lame. How long did that last 2 episodes?
I type this with the DVR going on tonights episode. Oh I do not like Sylar as a good guy. His character is supposed to be evil. How am I to like him now ? But even worse, and MUCH WORSE, how can you give Mohinder powers ?!?!?!? He is the "anti-powers" character, the one we believe is special, because, well, he ISN'T special (if ya get what I mean). I hope they do something other than expected schtick. The writing so far has been lacking. I was expecting better after the strike.
I agree....two episodes ? I have to believe that we are going to see more villians, and even worse ones. Is Parkman's father dead or alive ? I can't remember ? And the Nikki/Traci deal.....is this a twin sister ? The writers had better be coming up with some answers, and soon
I like peter, the fact he is trying to do whats good but everything keeps backfiring on him makes it pretty interesting. Sylar/Gabriel the fact hes trying to be good for me is interesting, mainly for the fact you know his bad side is still there and hes suppressing it. The nuke for example. Hiro use to be one of my favorites, but starting to annoy me slightly we will see how future episodes go. Parkman has lost a lot of interest also, I use to like him but storyline seems dull so far. Mohinder line is just blah I guess I don't care for it. I don't know the show is half good and half bad it feels sometimes which is weird for a show when it happens all in one episode. My biggest problem with the show, they seem to be reusing powers more than creating new ones for characters at times. Then the fact that like mentioned above I am really hoping for more villains..
What drives me crazy about Peter is a combination of bad acting and very cheesy lines. He comes across as pathetic half the time, and stupid the other half.
good episode....agree with Finwins56, Peter/Future Peter acting was very cheesy when they were walking the streets. Spoiler Gabriel/Sylar exploding was totally unexpected.
Can someone remind me of what happened with Nathan's family? I swear, last year's crappy half season has me all messed up.
What bugged me is Future Pete had a bad case of Batmanitis, trying to make his voice all deep. Another thing that bugged me was Peter taking Sylars power.... I'm sorry but Peter has the power of absorption he should have already had it. Inconsistency is killing the show IMO.
Thought the past episode was good and would like to see some more of the same in the future while advancing the storyline. The puppeteer was very cool.
The Peter character was pretty good when he was insecure and unsure but he has a very hard time making a believable badass. So does Claire. Some great casting with the show but some bad casting and acting this year. Still enjoyable though, the show is still addicting.
i have left the show and havent looked back. for anyone on the fence, just leave it. the show was a tug of war with me. i loved it and then hated it. now i just dont watch it. i think the main ideas and plot lines were brilliant. but the acting is poor and most of the time i felt like i was being strung along. my main complaint is that while the major plot is always great, the subplots were terrible. i always felt like the show was an hour long only because it had to be. you could cut the show to half its time and not lose anything
unfortunately i agree with everything here.....like the old saying goes.....if it's not broke, don't fix it. they added too much glitter and glam to it and now it's too much....just too much.
my biggest complaint with the show is the inconsistancy with where they want to go with the plot..are they fallen angels in one ep then the next ep are they just lab created "superheroes",who's the villian who's the good guy, also they are starting to jump around more than lost..too many flashback/forwards in one ep..im your mother/father..no not really you were adopted/created..no really i had you a long long time ago but its jsut a cover-up cuz you were actually created in a lab...they should change the name to "confused heroes".
I used to look forward to Mondays for this show, but its going south...fast. no one can ever die because 12 people can heal/time-warp/revive. its just a jumbled cluster F, and becoming less and less interesting.
ahh man you guys missed a great episode. someone dies, papa petrelli is about to take over, hiro/ando screens were funny.
Agreed Last night's episode was the best one in quite awhile. Hiro's "That's Racist" line had me rolling. Good fight scene between Peter and Sylar. Learned what Papa Petrelli's power is. I'm sticking with it, if for nothing else just to see how they finish off this storyline.
the show just seems rushed and jumbled ever since the writers strike. its like they had a booklet with a bunch of good ideas all in order...and they dropped it...and couldnt figure out how to put it back together again. the show used to make sense and keep you in the dark, but move at a good pace. it now seems to have the continuity of National Lampoons Vacation.
I can definitely see what you mean. Its definitely no where near the level it was in the first season, probably never will be, but hopefully they get things straightened out. I personally couldn't give up on it yet, I've seen every episode since the beginning, gotta see how they wrap it all up.
oh yeah, im going down with this ship...i still enjoy a few guys like Hiro, Parkman, Sylar, the older petrelli, the Haitian and Bennett... but you guys are right, Peter is becoming very annoying and so is claire. and mohinder too... i know shows hit growing pains...but they gotta get it together.
I though last nights was a bit... boring at times. The whole Claire/puppetman scene was so predictable it bored the heck out of me, you so knew what was going to happen there. if you didnt, somethings wrong. Havent they shot her to sacrifice her like... 3 times now? once every season. Other than that it was pretty good. Every episode this season has been outstanding IMO. For me, this show is back to where it started. Im quite content watching it every single week still
imo this season is already better than season 2 i'm loving it surresh is a tool though...i hope sylar dominates him
Agree. Hopefully it was just exuberance by writers to get as many "Dun, Dun, Dun" twists and turns Bizzaro worlds squeezed in the rist 6 episodes that have been rattling around their brains during the strike that where starting to get very soapy. The 'villan!' has identified and the show should show more focus. Last years almost seems like a mulligan and working back in some repetitive storylines. Peter in Ireland...Parkman in Africa, serum kills all non-supers...serum makes all non-supers into supers, Sylar loses power...Peter loses power, scary Parkman dad...scary Petrelli dad. Is anyone else expecting Papa P's next words to Peter to be go and back to being a nurse pansy boy? If I remember right, he wasn't happy at all in Peters career choice.
I have been dissapointed from the very beginning when Sylar didn't eat Claire's brain () and the overall story development. Hopefully it'll continue to improve as this one was just good enough to keep me interested.
