There are a lot of people who think this team doesn't have any talent, and I've been arguing against those thoughts. Even last year, I thought the team had some nice players and thought they'd be much better with a better coaching staff. Enter Parcells and Tony Sparano. Since day 1, Sparano has been teaching these guys how to tap their talents and play solid, winning football. This Dolphins team is loaded with young talent and the coaching staff knows how to handle them, and that is a major reason why they are playing so well right now...on both sides of the ball.

I'm not sure what will happen this year, but one thing is certain...the Miami Dolphins are back and are no longer the NFL's doormat. And a lot of the credit goes to the coaches who have been teaching these players the right way to play the game of football. The future is extremely bright ladies and gentleman, and to see all the players and coaches on the sidelines hugging, pumping up the crowd, and slapping hands is extremely gratifying and IMO is only a taste of what's to come.

So let's give a huge round of applause to the coaching staff. They're doing a hell of a job getting our players ready and teaching them the fundamentals and passion needed to be a winning football team.

The attitude of this team is extremely contagious. Kudos Sparano for building and fostering it.

    nice post!

I think the best part so far has been that the NFL still thinks we're their doormat... We stunned the pats in our last game by destroying them, and still the chargers didnt take us seriously... maybe theyre having second thoughts now?

You can definately notice the new attitude of this team taking over... its quite refreshing to see.

Kudos to Sparano and the coaching staff. My only issue is we didn't score in the 2nd half and got a little conservative, but our D really stepped up.

    Nice post!

I think Wayne putting BP in charge maybe one of the best decisions Wayne has ever made since Buying the Dolphins. I wont count on the Dolphins winning a lot of games this year but at least I can feel assured that they will be competitive and wont be counted on as being an easy game for opposing teams anymore.
Parcells, Ireland and Sparano is like having three Aces in a game of 5 card draw poker.

Yes, top down these past two games have been great. Great gameplan, and the players went out and played tough physical ball and executed those gameplans.

A big part of it has been a solid draft, 3 of our 4 top picks are starting and contributing very well. Other young players like Starks and Roth have stepped up. We are coming together and the pieces are falling into place. Now we really think we can win. We go out to win the game, instead of going out trying not to lose like last year.

I dont think we are playoff ready, and think 6-10 would be a good year (I think we could finish 8-8 now though). Another solid draft, a good FA or two and we can really ascend to the upper echelon sooner rather than later.

Kudos to everyone on the team on two great games. Keep up the hard work and gameplay!

And all that because finally Huizenga gave the control of the team to someone who really understands football.

Definitely. The Parcells hire was absolutely HUGE for us. Props to Huizenga for making it happen.
