After contributing heavily to the Miami Dolphins’ general manager and head coaching searches that saw the organization hire Jon-Eric Sullivan and Jeff Hafley from the Green Bay Packers, Hall of Fame quarterback and current color commentator for Monday Night Football, Troy Aikman, will remain working for the team in “some capacity” moving forward.

“Kind of caught me out of left field — wasn’t expecting that,” Aikman said on an episode of the “Rodeo Time” podcast about his original hire with the Dolphins in January. “But I dove into it and decided I would do it. I thoroughly enjoyed it and felt like I was of some help. Where that might go, I’m not sure, but I’m going to continue to work with them.”

It can't hurt...another advisor for Ross to ask an opinion from and then go ask everyone else anyway.
