Yeah, get him. Let him pick the GM. Just no more Mcdaniel. However.........LOL! ...we have no shot, no hope. We're in franchise Hell. :drink:

I have wanted John Harbaugh for years. If Mike McDaniel is fired, you know they’re going after him

My fears the Raiders with the #1 pick or the Giants with Dart. You got the Browns, Falcons and Cardinals, but i think Raiders and Giants would be our top competition for his services

I think the Giants and Falcons will be his top destinations…. Maybe Titans.. i dont see him going to a division competing with his brother, mahomes and the broncos..

    Either way we're a longshot.

One person who could put the idea in Ross's mind to get aggressive is Aikman. If he thinks highly of Harbaugh.

Harbaugh’s agent said 45 minutes after he was fired, he got called by 7 different teams expressing interest.. there are currently 7 openings including Baltimore, so there is at the very least one team with a head coach not fired yet that has contacted for Harbaugh.

I would a viagra induced mega erection if the Dolphins were to land Harbaugh!!!!

Gee, what happened the last time time the Dolphins went all in, even lost a first round pick for tampering when they went for a Baltimore head coach? We got Don Shula and the rest is history!

If I’m Ross, I’m on the phone with him, telling him he can have anything he wants, including his own personal pick for GM if he agrees to come to Miami…as soon as I get off of the phone and either fire or demote McDaniel.

Do I think McDaniel is a great offensive mind? Sure I do but he has had struggles as head coach. We’ve discussed this at length. I’d actually be willing to keep McDaniel on as OC if we were to get Harbaugh…so long as McDaniel’s offense was part of Harbaugh’s overall strategy.

Miami is at the point now that we have to make a BOLD MOVE! Think of it, Anthony Weaver reunited with Harbaugh? Harbaugh using his influence to bring HIS type of players to Miami?

I need to stop, this is the type of wishful thinking I do if I were to ever win the Powerball

It would be such a strange concept- bad news, we only won 7 games. Good news, we're the AFC South champion for the 9th year in a row...despite not breaking .500 for the 9th year in a row.

Harbaugh and Ross have many mutual connections and they've tried in the past to get him (and his brother) as our head coach. It would be a desirable fit due to their relationship, no state tax, and a shared Michigan pride.

For football reasons why Harbaugh would want it, he's thinking legacy and not looking to manage someone else's team. He'd want to build from the ground up and enhance the few bright stars on the roster. None of the other vacancies have a lock at QB either, so I think we'd be in the conversation anyway.

Obviously you don't know how he would feel about other QBs but there is way more promise with Giants and Titans because they could have their QB. Atlanta probably doesn't have their QB but they are really talented. Vegas has the first pick. Jets are one of the bigger dumpster fires around but I wouldn't be convinced we are ahead of them since they have tons of picks.

He will go to the Giants.

Truthfully, the Jets should bring back Rex Ryan. He's the only one who's had success in decades.

And you're right, Atlanta is probably the premium destination at this time roster-wise. The Titans need a lot of changes to be competitive. And I haven't looked at the Giants this year, so I can't comment there. It's in NY though and a lot of people wouldn't want to be in that spotlight.

There is a team with a current head coach that hasn’t been fired now rumored to be in the talks. Could be the Dolphins.

No, the Dolphins haven't contacted Harbaugh. Snake McDaniel is pulling the strings for this franchise now. Don't be surprised when one of his buddies from San Francisco is hired as GM.

To be fair, the Dolphins didn't reach out to Brady either, yet there he was on a yacht with Ross and Flores.

The Dolphins haven't reached out through official channels, which is the way to do it when you have a current head coach.
