If this is a repeat...my bad. I have never been a Tua fan...once he hit the field as a Miami Dolphin. I thought he was the bee's knees while in college, but I held my nose while we selected him before Herbert...who was projected to have been the #1 pick the previous season had he come out. The person who contributed the most his Tua's non-development was one Brian Flores. He didn't want Tua. He wanted a LT and then come back around later and take Jordan Love, which is fine...if he were the GM, but he's not. He didn't do half of what the rookie QB's teams have done to surround their top 10 pick with talent...although the o-line excuse wore thin with me EARLY. Flores was a HC for 3 seasons and had a different OC for each of those seasons. Tua didn't stand a chance here with the front office's parody of Monty Python meets the Keystone Kops.
No excuse, Tua was the only quarterback in history to have dual offensive coordinators. That's double the coaching and double the input. Who cares if Flores didn't communicate with him or any of the coaches on the coaching staff?
