Our defense has been ok. It won't last if we can't score. Baltimore gets it coming out of the half. If we can somehow by a miracle keep them from running it down our throat on this opening drive and force a punt, we might have a chance.
Don’t know that one but all of ya should try some Helle from Bayern, those I are my favorite. As the Ravens do what they do to us, Let’s see what the O has to offer.
Eh cant say Tua has played bad today.. did not like the coverage sack he took, almost like he didnt want to show everyone he cant make a 50 yard throw… that opening drive to start the second half is like a slow death by a thousand needles. Just a mauling .. if we dont get some first downs this drive our defense may be cooked the rest of the way
Yeah I'm about outta here. We don't stop em here, I'm done. It'll be fkin Zach Wilson time in the 4th and I'm not watching that.
The product is awful… even tho i wanted to move on from tyreek hill, and im good with moving on because his off the field nonsense was becoming a distraction. This is definitely a competitive game if he was out there.. the offense is lost without him
RBs are getting mugged by the Ravens. That's what happens when you have a bunch of undersized Smurfs for RBs.
I’m not surprised that we lost. I’m surprised at how lopsided it ended up being, but once the game started getting out of hand, the run game ended up taking a backseat. Miscues in the first half pretty much sealed our doom. -The fumble by Washington that negates a first down -The false start on 4th and 1 -The missed field goal The penalty on Gordon for slipping and falling down negating a 50 yard completion. The defense was slow out of the gate, allowing 2 quick touchdowns, but played well in the first half but come the 2nd half, they were being dominated. The offense played well in the first half, minus the miscues that shot ourselves in the foot. Coming out in the second half though? Stephen Ross, unless you’re playing for the number 1 overall pick in the draft, it’s time…it’s beyond time to clean house.
I got to watch the full game and I'm pretty perplexed to say the least. We had five trips into the redzone and scored 3 points. A 6th trip into the redzone was called back on a terrible penalty with the deep pass to Wallace, which I'd love to complain about if we hadn't choked five other times. Then we had another field goal of 49 yards, so we were moving the ball okay and getting into scoring position. We just couldn't score. Meanwhile, Baltimore gets a turnover in our redzone and the D delivers what should have been a 3 and out...but the Ravens went for it on 4th and got the TD. Okay, still a good effort stopping Jackson down near the goal line. But as the game progressed and the offense found inexplicable ways to drive the field yet not score any points, the D started coming up short. Maybe it was just Lamar shaking the rust off, I'm not sure. For the first half, it almost felt like neither team wanted to win the game. If the Fins actually executed in the redzone, we would have been leading 31-13 at halftime. But instead of 31, we managed to score 3.....three points on 5 red zone trips. It's truly perplexing.
Such a disappointing showing last night. Things progressively changed after the Gordon injury. We had a chance, but the team quit after Jackson converted the 3rd and 6 on the opening 2nd half drive. That was literally the bit of heartbeat the defense had. As for Tua...Well he didn't turn the ball over, but he played like a backup trying not to lose the game (as if we were in it). I really wish he would have made it happen against them. You could see he tried, but between his limitations and the sieve offensive line, results weren't going to be there. The penalties are beyond frustrating. All season it's gone this way.
There i a zero chance Tua has the arm to throw the ball 50 yards down field, even the announcers said it. He wasn't going to expose his weak arm, and that is why he took the sack.
I don’t put to much blame on Tua yesterday, it seems like he is what he is. Games like against the Falcons are sadly not the norm for him and he needs more help around him than the elite QB‘s. Another thing with him I noticed, if we get a comfortable lead he normally gets better and if it’s a close game or we’re behind he becomes tentative and nervous wich is kind normal because the stakes get higher and variety of plays become slimmer. He definitely isn’t our biggest problem (that’s Grier) and he’s a more than serviceable QB, but he ain’t what we drafted for and was probably/likely the wrong choice. Fire Grier!
I'm just going to repost my post from the club game thread. So, yes, it's dasha vu all over again if you read that one too. This was the most frustrating loss in recent memory for me. Generally out played the Ravens in the first half, but the refs, and the Dolphins dumb mistakes at the absolutely worse times possible meant losing going into the half. And then... team comes out flat and broken for the second half. WTF! Why wouldn't they be pissed and looking for payback after that first half?
