No it's not the right opinion. A win that prevents us from making the decisions we should make to be an actual winning franchise, is actually a win that is hurting the franchise. The true fan wants to get the pain over now, and do what needs to be done to turn this franchise around. Unless the that Falcons win is the start of an 8 or 9 game winning streak, yeah, it's meaningless and only serves to give people excuses to show Ross how they're so close to putting it all together.
This isn't Madden video games. Winning real football games, playing good football will do alot to develop young players on this team. Pat Paul isn't going anywhere. Jonah Savaiinaea isn't going anywhere and he had his best game as a pro yesterday. Chop Robinson isn't going anywhere. Dante Trader played his *** off yesterday, he's not going anywhere. Kenneth Grant has played great the last two games, he's not going anywhere. Ollie Gordon is going to develop into a good player. I love how he runs. Just enjoy some of the young talent that they have right now who all seem to be on a good trajectory.
One good Dome game and all of a sudden they‘re all on a good trajectory. Let’s see how they look on Thursday and if the jinxmaster has struck again…
I don’t think there is such a thing as a true fan, everybody has their own opinion, that doesn’t make it better or worse. I agree with your last paragraph though and I still don’t want any part of Grier here with the Dolphins…
I don't think anyone believes the Dolphins are on a "good trajectory" as you put it. I believe all some of us are saying is what we saw on Sunday is what we all EXPECTED to see this season.
Depends on who posts it and how they put it. On the expectation part, I was more than surprised that they pulled the game off that they did and I enjoyed every last bit of it.
Yeah I don't generally get into questioning fandom. I agree, everyone is a fan their own way, I was just disagreeing with the sentiment of the post I quoted. I mean, I've been accused repeatedly of not being a "real fan" and nothing but a "troll." LMAO
I'm not gonna say that there are circumstances where a team is better off losing. I get that Joe Burrow has his issues with injuries, but I'd feel a thousand times better with him as our quarterback. We also led the Andrew Luck race for a good stretch back in the day. Generational talents are worth the suffering for if the circumstances match.
Not my issue, sure #1 pick is nice, but don’t matter if you pick the wrong player. My only reason for losing is, getting rid of Grier.
