I actually wouldn’t be surprised, if Johnson will be Griers pick. I think he has Grier written all over him, good talent with injury history that fills a need. If we pick him he probably will blow out his knee, if he goes somewhere else, he’ll probably become an all-pro, would be such a Dolphin thing…

Austin Jackson did not have injury concerns

Is that all you picked up on from this article? He was coming off a bone marrow donation which takes a while to recover from. Might have been part of the reason he played like garbage his first three seasons with us.

The problem with the Jackson pick wasn't him being bad the first two years its the games he has missed two of the past three years.

But they didn't ignore a injury history so he no business being used as an example.

Austin Jackson was a revolving door at USC. I watch a lot of trojan games, hated the pick.. he boosted his draft stock with a great combine and pro day that showed agility and strength.. which doesnt always translate to the field, as evident as it has been so far..

If he manages to be there when we pick in the 2nd round it's worth the risk imo.

But is it worth the headache and posts on this board if they pick him and then re-injures himself?

Depends on his knee, but I would be fine with him in the 2nd or 3rd round.
