Yea I hear ya. I have been paying for Sun-sentinel for years. I perfer the local media compared to the national media even though this guy isn't my favorite journalist down there. Dave Hyde is my favorite South flordia sports writer
Well for those of us who don’t have the Sun Sentinel and won’t subscribe, care to throw a dog a bone? Can’t discuss the article if we don’t have access to it.
In a nutshell: Past three seasons against playoff teams: “Tua against playoff teams has 26 touchdowns, 19 interceptions and an 89.7 passer rating in 17 games. Tyreek has 144 receptions for 1,691 yards and 10 touchdowns in 20 games against playoff teams. Waddle has 62 receptions for 1,108 yards and four touchdowns in 17 games against playoff teams.” However, the writer and poster failed to compare those numbers to what other teams do. Here’s how playoff teams this year did against other playoff teams: 8 of the 14 playoff teams had losing records against other playoff teams.
First of all the Bills math doesn't add up. How can you be 2-3 yet 1-0 at home and 2-2 on road equals 2-3? And when you haven't won a playoff game after all the resources you had this reply is flat out stupid. Maybe try taking of the aqua and orange glasses and join the real world. This will be the last year of this team mark my words!
The guy who made the chart did the H vs A math wrong. Bills played the following playoff teams: Ravens: Lost Houston: Lost KC: Won Rams: Lost Lions: Won So, it took me 1 minute to find the data and do the very simple math, (must have been hard for some here). Bills were 2-3 against playoff teams. “All those resources”? You spelled injuries wrong. So how far do the Bills get without Allen. (McD’s first postseason he had a 7th round rookie QB and lost by 3 in Buffalo.) How did the Bills, with Allen, do against KC in Buffalo? (McD’s 2nd playoff appearance and Tua’s 1st playoff game) What a stupid post. If objectivity is “aqua and orange glasses” then I’m guilty. Maybe learn to add objectivity and context to your posts?
Only the Bills and comanders made it deep in the playoffs with a losing record jn the regular season against playoff teams, and they still had more than us and kicked our *** twice. Winning against teams above 500 and playoff teams is generally a good indicator of how good your team really is, and the Dolphins are obviously not that good right now given we have only 2 wins against teams with a winning record over the last 2 seasons combined.
Who cares! Bills are in AFC Championship and have beaten us what like what 12 out of 13.It is stupid to ever compare the Bills to us until we can actually beat them.Just as pathetic as bashing other Qbs that are clearly better than Tua which I am sure you will do it again if Chiefs win. Your posts are always biased towards fins. Why I have no idea. I give them credit when they do well and bash the **** out of them when they deserve it. You act like this is a good team every year. News flash, number 1 team in NFL with longest playoff win drought.
Only a fan of a team that’s not the Dolphins would consider a last second 60+ yard field goal to win the game an “azz kicking”. And what’s with the goal post moving on EVERYTHING? The topic was outcomes against playoff teams. The majority of playoff teams have losing records against other playoff teams. But somehow it only matters for the Dolphins. Lol
Who cares? You’re the one who posted this thread and titled it “This is so true”. Then tried to claim some facts were wrong because the math was too hard. Now it’s “who cares”? Lmao
I meant to say the so called big 3 as the article suggests. But I betcha none of the top Qbs are 4-13 without even having to look it up. But if you want to keep making excuses with failure that is fine. Me, I call it like it is. Just don't be bashing players when they are no longer dolphins because you sure didn't while they are here.
If the Dolphins get into the playoffs next year and Tua throws for 120 yards and zero touchdowns and they win, I highly doubt any of the negative Tua people here would credit him with a win. It would be a team win.
You're right, thanks. It would be a miracle because the success of this team the last two years is solely based on Tua's production.
So not true.I don't give a **** how they win a playoff game. How could anyone be negative after 25 years of misery? But the reality of it is not going to happen unless Allen gets hurt and they can win division and have a home game.
