Trust me I am not saying Herbert doesn't choke but besides the Ravens game in 2022 what big win has Tua ever had,Maybe I am missing something?

There it is. It's not a Bills game without Allen crying.

All I'm saying is after yesterday it's clear Tua was the better choice between the two. Both Qbs have ample time to prove they can play well when it counts most. Sample size is way too small right now. But as of today Tua > Herbert.

Obviously it would have been great to get Burrow but he wasn't available.

Wow, have you ever seen a referee go and comfort a crying quarterback on the sidelines before? I just saw it on the Bills game. Amazing.

The Burrow thing I blame Flores.
But I would have taken Herbert over Tua but that is my opinion as Tua has done nothing against good teams either with Hill and Waddle
And definitely would taken Jefferson and Herbert over Tua and Waddle .
But it is what is and Tua is what we have.

If the goal is to win a SB you cannot prefer Herbert over Tua (just comparing these two) after yesterday. That kind of choke performance is worse than anything from Tua. And that's with the #1 defense.

Unless of course the goal is not to win in the playoffs.. then choose who you want.

Ok call me…whatever but that unnecessary roughness penalty on Denver should be picked up. Looking at the slow motion replay, it was a CLEAN hit…shoulder to shoulder.

Buffalo’s receiver just got knocked out

Romo: “And Allen “aggressively” takes what the defense gives him!”

Never heard a check down being called “aggressive” before.

Romo would happily be Allen’s bottom.

I'm not disagreeing that Tua has come up short in many big games. But tempering that to a good degree is that he's played really well against some good teams and the bad win/loss record is partly due to others. The wins will eventually come. We just need to protect the guy with a better OL.

Here’s the problem when you have a first year head coach light up the field like McDaniel did with Tua and his offense…it’s expected EVERY year and that’s not realistic. The fact that Tua performed even better in year 2 of the McDaniel is incredible.

Common sense dictates it can’t be sustained year after year after year. There are going to be seasons in which performance degrades and this season, it was the offense.

If we could just get a gawd dammed offensive line, we’d be alright.

Its the one thing I don't blame Flores for. It would have been better if they got the number 1 pick but what is he supposed to do other than try to win?

You could put Rosen out there for 16 games but its a lock you are losing the locker room and you might end up fired anyway.

Exactly. Tua has a 125 and 114 (to name just 2) against playoff teams. The Dolphins lose. Herbert has worse numbers and is a main reason the Chargers lose.
    Big difference to objective people.

I agree with line but this dude is dangerously close to being out of this league with another concussion because he is stupid. The line isn't the reason he gets hurt.
And you can say the same thing about Herbert playing good against some good teams but either one has done it consistently.

If your quarterback has a passer rating of 125 & 114 and the team loses, the problem was not the quarterback…and I don’t care if that quarterbacks name is Mahomes, Allen, Jackson or Tagovailoa.

Quarterback did what he was supposed to do.

Lumping all games stats as one game while also separating those games into individual wins and losses is not how this works. How many games are we talking? Did Tua have 0 INT’s in 5 games with 1 or 2 TD’s in each and have 2 bad games with 3/4 INT’s?

I don’t know who Greenway is.

If you don’t like stats then stop using them. TD’s and INT’s are stats, BTW.

I’d love that, but I just don’t see how. Love has really regressed this year over last. And Barkley is a beast. “Greenway”‘does have a pretty good rushing defense, though.

Yea I thought it was pretty clear the Packers recovered that fumble but I don’t think it’s going to matter. After the first series by both teams, I think it’s going to be to be a long day for the Packers.

Man has Love really regressed this year. Before the season when there was all the fellating and praise for him from the media, and some here, I said let’s wait and see. I DO THINK he’ll still be good, but he needs to get better.
