After lording it over the rest of the AFC East, isn’t it great to see the patsies struggling?

Tua's confidence is through the roof right now, as it should be.

Even if they win the next thing will be that they can’t win a play off game. It’s maddening

    Yes, good win.

But yeah, of course we need to see performance in the playoffs against good teams, not against yet another team with only 3 wins.

Everyone getting a chubby over beating crappy teams is getting a bit ridiculous.

How can the Raiders be winning at halftime against the above .500 Broncos? I thought all "good" teams beat "bad" teams? And if the Dolphins only smoked the Raiders because they are "bad", why are the Broncos, losing? I'm so confused!

What's ridiculous is the Dolphins "fans" here openly rooting for them to lose and then bashing them after a 4 game winning streak with all the "but...but...but's". And nary a word about Tua playing like one of the best QB's in football since he's come back. That's ridiculous.

A win in the NFL is a win. If the Dolphins beat KC they don't get 2 wins for the season. The inability to have any hope, optimism, objectivity, or positivity is what's ridiculous. A fan that openly roots for a loss and is NEVER happy after a win isn't a fan.

They need to beat every team by 500 and Tua needs to throw 10 TD's a game with 500 yards.

Dude again, if you're talking to me then talk to me. Don't quote my post, where I give MY PERSONAL OPINION, and then want to argue about other posters.

Put the posters you don't like on ignore. Easy.

Beating the worst teams in the league isn't impressive, it's what any good team SHOULD do.

There really isn't anything you can justifiably do other than be happy they won so the finger wagging at fans for doing so is pretty hilarious.

It’s def worth the trade off because you ain’t winning a superbowl being 245.

Tua being 20 lbs lighter means a lot more than just taking off and running.

qb operations as a whole are affected positively

    happy he finally learned

It's not just the win and the realistic playoff chances we should be happy about, but Tua having what looks like will be his 3rd consecutive statistically elite season. Even if you're not yet convinced the 2024 Dolphins will make the playoffs, evidence that Tua likely is an elite QB who can be expected to put up many statistically elite seasons is reason enough to be happy.

Let’s back off on the “you’re not a fan” stuff please. The Dolphins have done this in the past where they get you excited and then just don’t finish so I get the questioning. I’m not in that camp cause I’m on the optimism side.

I think Tua was 235 last year, not 245. And Roethlisberger is 240 lb. So it's possible.

In any case, I agree with you it's good he lost weight. Just pointing out he needs to play smarter to not increase the chance of concussions when he does take off.

Res, I get your point. I really do but you have to remember this is the NFL, where anybody can beat anybody on any given Sunday.

Were we supposed to win against the Patriots? Yes we were and we did so handily. Had the Thompson to Wright exchange not resulted in a fumble…grrr, but anyhow we did what we were supposed to do.

Washington was supposed to beat Dallas and do so easily. Dallas is such a train wreck and yet, the Cowboys won!

Houston was supposed to win against the Titans today and do so with ease. They’re dominating the AFC South and yet, the Titans won.

The Steelers were supposed to beat the Browns. Again, oops!

The world champion Kansas City Chiefs played one of the WORST teams in the league and won only on a last minute field goal.

The point being, GOOD teams can lose to HORRIBLE teams and GOOD teams can struggle against bad teams. We didn’t struggle against the Patriots, we handled them easily but to dismiss that win as a “well they’re supposed to win that one” takes away from the reality of the game.

Bottom line is a win is a win, whether you win by 1 point or 21 points and a team that you’re supposed to beat can bite you in the a$$.

Can’t take anything away from the Dolphins win over New England today.

Hit, no one has any issues with differing opinions. You and Res seem to share the overall same opinion. So be it. I replied to Res and I don’t believe I was belittling nor disrespectful to him. I stated my view and the reasons behind it.

And I believe he would respect my opposing viewpoint as I tried to show respect to his. I would do the same with you.

You haven’t been like others who have been here stirring the pot to cause fights. Bottom line, you’re not an a$$hole. I may not agree with you from time to time but you’re not belligerent.

So by all means. Express opinion…express viewpoints. I always welcome debate.

For the record, would you prefer the Dolphins win or lose the remaining games we play this season?

(and note I'm asking because of your well known stance on Grier.. we keep winning we keep Grier)

People don’t get banned because of their views. You’re still here. So why is that? The same things are posted in the club area. Get rid of Grier. Tear it down. Tua isn’t the one. If people troll the board and disregard warning after warning then that’s what happens. You’re able to disagree. Able to post the “your” opinion. If you can’t see why then you’re myopic. Move on.

Here are with 2 narratives to overcome Thurs night and they are justified regardless of what some of you will claim.is bull****.
First one how about beat a winning team especially on the road.
The second is Tua is 0-7 in games under 40f.
Win and I'll start to believe.Lose and season most likely over especially with the Broncos win.
So hopefully the narratives come to.end but denying they exist is being delusional.

Narratives are just that… I don’t think you understand that. Lol

Regardless, wins and losses aren’t QB stats. But, if you want to use that, both Marino and Manning had losing records in games under 40 degrees.
And Tua has beaten both the Lions and the Ravens in Detroit and Baltimore.

I find it sad that it’s gone from “Tua can’t throw deep” to “Tua can’t make off script plays to now “Tua can’t win in the cold”. And there are many other examples of people claiming what Tua can’t do only to be proven wrong. The amount of goalpost moving is absurd.

I agree Tua and the Dolphins need to start putting those narratives to rest. However, a loss against GB doesn't mean we're out of the playoffs even with a Broncos win. Denver plays the Colts, Chargers, Bengals and the Chiefs to the end the season, which could easily mean 2 extra losses. Realistically we have a decent chance at 10-7, so I wouldn't throw in the towel if we lose Thursday.

Tua said he's ready to kill some narratives. He's killed so many already this is just the next one. There will be another one after it. And then another one after that one.

I've never seen Tua this confident and demonstrative, even when they were destroying everyone last year.
