You have to add context. The Pats are giving up 22 PPG this season. The Dolphins have scored 24 at the half. The Pats are only averaging 17 PPG on offense, it's only halftime, but they've scored 0 points. "Beat downs" are rare in the NFL. KC is beating the Panthers 20-9 at the half, for example. The Panthers are an objectively worse team than the Pats. Are the Chiefs not a "good" team?

 

Pats are definitely one of the worst teams in the league, and they have the 30th ranked offensive line in the NFL coming into this game. Beating down the patriots is nothing to jump up and down about, just like last years beat down of the Broncos was not indicative of how good we actually were.

We have a lot of elite weapons that allow us to blowout bad teams, until we can do it against good teams I am not going to shower praise. This is like clubbing baby seals.

We still need to see him produce consistently against better competition.

Division games can always go either way no matter how bad someone is. Beating up on a division opponent is nothing to scoff at. We have two games ahead against the Jets. They're the biggest train wreck in the league and those are going to be two tough games.
