Chargers have a brutal schedule coming up if Herbert does indeed blow this game. Bengals winning could potentially put another wild card spot up for grabs.

Bengals stink.Worst offensive line I have seen in years.Def sucks also.
It's amazing this dude is leading league in TD passes.

Burrow is great but let's keep in mind he has much better weapons to throw to than Herbert.

At one point, I heard Mike Turrico say that Herbert started off 9 of 10 but since then had only gone 6 of 25. If you can complete 90% of your passes on you firs possessions, then receiving talent isn't the issue. It just can't be.

In the first half, Burrow looked like a complete train wreck. He woke up in the 2nd half but ran out of gas.

Burrow did what was necessary to win. Their kicker is the problem. He had multiple opportunities to put the Bengals ahead.. and flop.

lol.. they'd never do that trade. They weren't willing to trade down in the 2020 draft, and they won't trade Burrow away now either. The guy is right behind Mahomes in the elite QB category.

Oh wow, that means Tua would have Hill, Waddle, Chase and Higgins to throw the ball to while Burrow would have an over the hill Beckham and Johnu Smith...until Burrow is injured yet again.

Absolutely, lets just do something self destructive like that.

    Do you even hear yourself?

We couldve used a bills loss even though the division was still far fetched.. but anything can happen.. the bills are going to coast to the division win.. just a matter if theyre gettingg a bye or not..

gotta win this upcoming game against the patriots .. it wont be easy and we cant take them lightly.. their defense has had some good moments and drake maye is playing solid in his rookie season.. take care of business, we are suppose to win but we cant walk in there like theyre going to give it to us.

i hope for a faster start from our offense. Started a bit slow against the raiders in first half and turned it on in the second

If you have watched Burrrow this season he has maybe the worst offensive line I have seen.
He gets killed every game and waiting for the season ending injury that is more likely than not is coming. He is tough as nails but soon or later its coming with the hits he takes.
I know he has better weapons higgins missing 5 games aside but he still has to get them the ball.
And Burrow has done more than Herbert in his career.

Tua wouldn't last one game with Bengals line.
I watched alot of Bengals games this year and I have no clue how that dude keeps.getting up and still makes play after play.
He is better than Tua or Herbert and nobody can argue that with common sense.

Not just this season. What Burrow did against the Titans in the 2022 Divisional playoffs where he was sacked 9 times was unreal. Herbert could never come close to doing what Burrow did. And of course Burrow is 5-2 in the playoffs and led the Bengals to the SB. No real debate here: Burrow is clearly the best of the 2020 class. Tua and Herbert are about equals right now (we'll see over time) but clearly below Burrow.

Denver has a lot of issues. Primarily they don’t have enough playmakers on offense.

But their defense is playing great and their schedule is incredibly favourable!
I mean if KC has things locked up and are in a position to rest players week 18… Denver will only play 1 team with a winning record (that will be using NFL starters) from here on out.

Week to week denver looks different.. theyre trying to get Bo Nix to put it all together quicklu.. i feel like Sean is trying to adjust to this era of the NFL.. they still dont have their identity.. i can see denver get a couple of losses..

Bo looked great yesterday but something tells me bo nix is gonna come down to earth..

next week is a division rival game against raiders. chargers has a tough defense.. they got the bengals who will always be tough.. colts and browns both have tough defenses.. ill be shocked if they are above .500 the rest of the seaso

Bo nix is young so there will be growing pains.. he is showing a lot of promise considering his youth and inexperience. Broncos are going to be a very good team next year, IMHO. I do not think the Dolphins can get ahead of them for a wildcard spot.

I just ran the PFN playoff simulator. Granted its a simulator and not actual people playing the game but according to it, if we win out, we'll end up the number 6 seed in the playoffs.

I think itll be decided on the final 2 weeks.. dolphins have a more favorable schedule.. we will likely be in that situation in the final 2 weeks where we will need a few dominos to fall..

If we drop a game against a team we should beat .. like this sunday.. then i think our chances are go e.. one of my favorite quotes from pat riley, being professional is taking care/winning the games youre suppose to win.. this sunday, we cant let up..

I’ve run several different scenarios in the simulator. As I said above, according to their algorithm, if the Dolphins win out, we’re #6 and face Pittsburgh in the playoffs.

If you go through and manually tweak other teams, we end up as high as 6, squeak in at 7 and miss all together.

Bottom line, every game is a playoff game for the remainder of the season.

Pretty good video, even though I know some really don’t like Bromar Smelly. The last 10 min are really good imo, there is talk about the hit and miss percentages in the draft compared to other teams, don’t know if the numbers are correct though.

With Denver and Indy winning Sunday, it basically made the already unlikely idea of an 8-win season ending in the playoffs almost impossible. Those two would both basically have to collapse for that to happen, and they don't have daunting schedules.

After losing to Buffalo and Arizona, we knew that winning vs LA, LV, NE, CLE and the two games against the Jets were mandatory. Objects one and two complete, and the Jets and Browns are garbage fires that are only getting worse as the season plays on, so that's all good news.

However, even if we win all of those games, that's still only 8 wins, which means that its also almost certainly mandatory to win at least one of the games vs GB, HOU and SF. All three are beatable, but all three will be very difficult. The good news is that none of them are as good as they were in the second half of last season, at least at this moment.

The good news is that if we win out and end at 11-6, I don't see a way that we miss the playoffs. I simmed a few scenarios with the important rivals in the fight winning every game as well, and I don't see one that leaves us out in the cold should that happen. However after that, its all going to depend on what happens in the other games. There was even one where we finished 10-6 and ended up 9th in the AFC.

To get in at 9-8, we're probably going to have to need at least one of them to lose in Week 18, against a team that's either already clinched a playoff spot or is hopelessly out of the running.

I guess I am one of the few that believes we can win vs the Packers, 9ers and Texans? I don't view them as dominant and I really like our offensive production since Tua's return. We will compete in those games and hopefully we'll come out on top for those 1-2 drives that make the difference. And division games can always be a roll of the dice however I consider us to be better than the Patriots and Jets.

We need a healthy Fuller. It will allow our DL to get some coverage sacks and while also helping the S/LBs to scheme to take away the TE. We saw what happened vs the Raiders without him, though Bowers appears to be a special talent.

It wouldn't shock me if we win out or lose a bunch of close games. Either way I'll be here rooting for a run that leads to the playoffs. If that saves Grier's job, so be it.

It does look like the Broncos are finally starting to bring it all together, but it’s still a bit early to say. Nix is developing into a good quarterback but he is still a rookie.

We’ll see how the remainder of the season pans out.

As it stands right now, Miami is #8 in line for a party of 7. But is everyone seeing what’s happening right now in Vegas?

If the Raiders win against the Broncos, the Dolphins move up and take that number 7 spot.

Almost as interesting as a potentially historical comeback by the Dolphins from 2-6 to make the playoffs and beyond, but there's a legit chance a 15-2 team ends up as a WC in the NFC North. Even 14-3 would beat the 1999 13-3 Titans for highest win% for a WC team. I would love to see how Vikings or Lions fans react to their team being 15-2 and ending up as a WC lol.

Makes you wonder if things are being done correctly. Being a 15-2 WC is almost as bad as winning your division with a losing record and automatically being in the playoffs.

After messing around with the playoff predictor, I think that while its unlikely the Fins could make it into the playoffs at 9-8, the best chance of that happening is if a team out of the playoff hunt upsets someone still fighting in Week 18. Hard thing to hope for, but its still there as a chance.

Unfortunately, there are very real multiple possibilities where the Fins finish at 10-7 and are out. Even a chance where they're 10-7 and the 9-seed.

However, there's also a possible 5-way tie at 10-7 where they get in, and zero AFC teams finish with between 4 and 10 wins.

More than anything, root against the Broncos and Bengals, and know that we might not know who to root for in the head to head game between those two teams in Week 17, because what happens in Week 18 could still determine who gets in.
