It is foolish to play out the string and act like these games mean anything.
Because they do not.

 

Every post just gets dumber and dumber.

 

The Dolphins defeated the Raiders last season 20-13 in Miami. The last time the Raiders defeated to Dolphins in Miami was 2017 with Adam Gase as the Dolphins head coach.

Overall, the Dolphins are 12-8 all time against the Raiders in Miami and are 5-1 against the Raiders in the month of November.

History is on our side.

 

Yeah, getting to 11-6, by which every game matters, wouldn’t be worthwhile.

I swear these people can’t be Dolphins fans. And if they are I don’t get why they are. It must just be miserable for them. I mean, and credit given to @Unlucky 13 for these stats, only something like 13 teams have won a SB is the last ~30 years. Without hope and optimism, there wouldn’t be fans of nearly 2/3 of NFL teams. And without hope and optimism the NFL would just suck for the overwhelming majority of fans. Imagine being a fan of the Bills, Chargers, Browns, Cards, Lions, Texans, Jags, Falcons, Panthers, Bengals, and Vikings… teams that have never won a SB. I get that it’s been forever for the Dolphins, and some here aren’t old enough to remember the Dolphins even being in a SB, but history counts. Super Bowls matter, but each individual game matters, also. Without the regular season excitement you’re just a bandwagon fan… if a fan at all.

 

"I told you so" fans are the worst. The ones that say they're realists.

If the Dolphins win you can fade into the dark. If they lose, you can do your stupid "I told you so, I'm a realist". 20 years blah blah blah.

 

If it actually fires him out and he balls out obviously that is great but he really shouldn't be mad at him. It wasn't like he was being mean spirited or talking ****.

An active head coach shouldn't be commenting on the playing future of an opposing team's player.

 

Now balancing fandom with realistic possibilities, anyone who doesn’t believe a team with a 3-6 can have a successful season should tell that to the fans of the Giants, Ravens, Packers and 49ers.

Common sense and football players and the standing shoukd tell you it’s not time to give up… period.

I’m eager to see what Paul can do, but he’s a Left Tackle. It drives me bonkers when folks (not necessarily you) think you can slide a LT over to RT and he should be just fine. Everything is opposite on the other side of the line.
