So if anyone has not heard about this back in February a BBC writer was shown a secret ps3 title. BBC NEWS | dot.life | A blog about technology from BBC News | PlayStation bounces back Well according to game sites and a few rumors this title will finally be shown at Tokyo Game Show N4G.com : Sony's Secret game will be revealed at TGS 2008 I am very curious to what this title may be. The current rumor I like is that it could be Shadow of Colossus 2. Since Team ICO has been working on a unannounced ps3 title. Which was probably most impressive looking game on ps2. I can only dream of what they could accomplish on the ps3. With Shadow of Colossus was a success on ps2 so it's reasonable that they would make a sequel. What do you guys think?
I've been reading on n4g for a while that a reporter from the BBC that this game will revolutionize gaming. He has been in love with this game for months saying its amazing, so I can't wait to see it. Sony better hope this has Halo type success on the PS3.
Awesome, I am definitely excited to see what is it. Could it be a let down sure. Though I am hoping for something jaw dropping lol
Not real sure, they only really have two titles under thier name I seen. ICO and Shadow of Colossus. So I guess we will see. Whatever is secret I hope its a big step forward for ps3. If it is a new title from ICO even if not shadow, they been working on it for 3 years now so I imagine it may be impressive if from them.
The BBC reporter that I've read about says it will immerse the player into the game like never before so I'm pumped. We'll see though.
Hmmm, I wonder if this could be the mysterious game coming out of Rockstar? I remember quite some time ago they were talking about some entirely new exclusive IP for the PS3. I doubt it though.
I am not to sure, see people call thier project ICO 3, simply for the fact ICO and Shadow of Colossus is its spiritual successor. More I read on it the more i doubt the company will be do any straight sequels. They seem to like to try something new with each title. The try to do something innovative. I guess we will know at TGS supposably ico project is to be announced. So is this secret ps3 game, no idea if they are the one in the same or not.
My guess its going to be a new title but will play similar to their previous games, should be a great title regardless. Btw Bruzer TOV blows every Tales game out of the water. The Characters, the soundtrack, the skits, my god it makes TOS look like ****.
I know you said you gave up on them but I have to say you are missing out if you don't at least try Vesperia at some point.
While Shadow of the Colossus was awesome, it didn't look half as good as God of War II. Interested to see what this game is though.
Disagree... Shadow of Colossus was BY FAR the most visually impressive game on PS2. Then God of War 2... IMO of course.
Interested to see what it is now, what with that BBC guy pratically blowing liquid out of every orifice over it... BTW- what does the 'J' in 'JRPG' stand for???
Hopefully its as good as hes making it sound. Which in all likely hood it may dissapoint but trying to keep my hopes up
It goes from October 9th to October 12th. I actually read bbc article after mag came out he said although mag and the other titles announced are awesome. They are not this secret game he was shown.
I didn't think so, but hey, different strokes! GOWII was just awesome and looked really good IMO. SOTC seemed a little less "pretty" This game better be awesome cuz this BBC guy has been hyping the living crap out of it.
Both games were awesome, don't get me wrong but GoW II definitely had the graphics edge. SoC had quite a bit of the "jaggies".
Looks like they have quite a bit planned for this show....... IGN: Sony To Unveil Nine PS3 Titles at TGS
Nah. TGS was lamer than E3 was. There were 2 or 3 new games announced for the PS3 -Quantum Theory (Tecmo) - A gears of war clone LINK -Demon's Souls (Software) - Action RPG game LINK LINK - Nobi nobi boy - some crap from Namco Bandai LINK Also, there was no team ICO at TGS, so we're still waiting for that and this super secret game.
Yea I was watching TGS news for anything worthy of mention and It was a lame duck. Nothing really note worthy.
