Well I did see that armstead did not get hurt last week... So I guess that is a plus.

The run blocking was pretty good last week..
But then again it was always a lot better than our pass blocking...

Not intending to sound like a smart a$$, but what’s your measuring stick?

PFF ranks the Dolphins OL 16th. I didn’t look at pass pro and run blocking separately. Other sites have then ranked anywhere from 18th to 14th.

At the beginning of last year, before injuries decimated them, they were a top 10 OL.

Well, here’s my “measuring stick” and of course it’s more of an eyeballing it if you will.

How successful are the running backs running up the middle?

Does the quarterback have 4 seconds from snap to the time the ball is thrown?

    Pre-snap penalties

    Holding penalties

That’s my basic measuring stick and from what I’ve seen, we’re at best an average line at best.

Well, then PFF’s rating is accurate - can’t get more average than 16th.

Well, most of these sites have them around average.

4 seconds? A lot of QB's get the ball out a lot faster than 4 seconds. I mean in a perfect world where Carla Gugino shows up to my work at lunch daily to take off her clothes... 4+ seconds to throw every time would be fantastic. But it is not necessary.
