Thompson sees the pressure, readies to throw, pulls it back then gets absolutely smoked. Talk about a deer in headlights. Kid has no idea what he's doing or seeing out there. Seriously, just go wildcat the rest of the game.
I'll never understand why or how Grier survived the Flores firing. Should have completely cleaned house. All these troubles the last how many years and who's the lone survivor? Chris ****ing Grier.
Thompson must have hurt himself on the hit before (where he got planted into the turf with no protection from the zebra's) because that little shove shouldn't have him being down. Maybe some rib/shoulder damage or something from that previous big shot.
Naw... tua throws in rhythm of the offense and with anticipation of the WR's being in their spots. Thompson simply can't do that. He's lost, he's only throwing to guys that are wiiiiide open.
I dont feel like Berrios has ever come up clutch when we needed a conversation. I feel like every time we've thrown to him when needed he has dropped it or not been able to get open. He was so much better in NY than here. Not a bad returner, but man....get EZ in there.
I think Washington will be back next week and a lot of these guys won’t see much of the field anymore.
Im not going to fight with you on Tua if that's what you want. I simply don't care. If you don't think he runs this offense well then that's your perspective. It's obvious after today that he does. Does that make him great? No. I'm not saying that so stop trying to bait me into an argument with you on it. I simply don't care to take a side in this fight like everyone else would want to.
Outside of getting cooked by DK the defense showed up. Even the worst version of Tua would have probably led them to a win.
I hear you man, I know Ive given you crap at times on gamedays for your snap reactions at times but Im with you today, I just feel like you've gone out of your way a few times today to mention Tua to me when I haven't (and this time I did, yes) so I just wanted to say hey, im not going down that road. I'm not really on either side of the Tua debate. I'm actually not that worked up about this game. I mean, I am but I expected this today. Skylar sucks. It's that simple. As Fireland just said if Tua played today, we're winning this game and there's no doubt in my mind about that with how the D has played aside from 1 blown play. But it's obvious right now watching Boyle that the problem today has solely been Skylar Thompson and his lack of confidence to make a throw.
Wow this game is pathetic. But man, Smithe gave that everything he had. Great throw by Boyle. Wish they woulda caught that. This game might have had life. D is holding them. If the O could just do ANYTHING
