After the deflating loss against the Bills last week, it’s of to Seattle. It‘s going to be loud, so probably a lot of silent counts which won’t help our O nor Skylar. Let’s see how the team deals with adversity, I don’t have much hope when I look at McDaniels record without Tua. It will be interesting how we fare the next few weeks, we‘re definitely going to see if this team is a contender or just a pretender and if we can keep afloat and win in different ways until Tua comes back.
Well.. something happened to the odds from yesterday. We were a +6.5 underdog yesterday, now only a +4.5. Maybe we have a better chance than people think. Home field advantage is 3 points, so it's not that bad all things considered. Also interesting is we're a -1.5 favorite against the Titans at this early stage of betting.
The only good news is how our defense has played the last two weeks.. overall, after a rewatch they did not give up And that’s the only think I’m somewhat proud of
I think this net stretch of games is really going to show if the Dolphins have learned anything about being a team. Yes the starting QB is out but he isn't or shouldn't be the entire team/game. There are so many people that need to step up. It's good they had a couple extra days to rest. Let's see some heart out of this team. Some grit.
That Kenneth Walker video might have been a factor. Not official yet, but No way he is playing this week. Charbonnet is straight cheeks. Just a plodder with no explosiveness. Big downgrade and no big play threat on his estimated 17 carries. Might be enough to shave a point or two… Nice break for us, in general I think we will atleast hang around in this game.
Quarterback Tua Tagovailoa will not play for at least the next four weeks, but he will still be around the team on gameday. Via multiple reporters, head coach Mike McDaniel said on Friday that Tagovailoa will travel with the team to Seattle this weekend for the club’s matchup against the Seahawks. Tagovailoa suffered his latest concussion in last Thursday’s matchup against the Bills. He was placed on injured reserve earlier this week, with McDaniel saying it would be “empowering” for the quarterback to be able to focus on his recovery. Skylar Thompson, a seventh-round pick in 2022, will start at quarterback on Sunday, with Tagovailoa on hand to be a source. Thompson completed 8-of-14 passes for 80 yards in relief last Thursday. He last started a game as a rookie in 2022. Thompson has completed 57 percent of his career throws for 614 yards with one touchdown and three interceptions.
Anybody else going to the game Sunday? Taking my Daughter to her first game. Going to be a good game I think. Even without Tua. These two teams match up well
I’ve been to the last two games the Phins came here. It’s a great environment to watch a game. No hesitation bringing my daughter. Hawks fans are passionate for sure but super chill and mostly friendly from my experience. First game I went with a buddy who has season ticket in the Hawks Nest. End zone bleachers. Think of the Black Hole or the Dog Pound and that’s the Hawks Nest fans. They weren’t as nice. But never mean or violent.
Shouldve added 15 for the horse collar tackle and i knew sanders would miss.. i rather have gone for it on fourth down or punt it.. now we gave seattle excellent field position
Not seeing the improved coaching decisions I was hoping for. It's early, but sees like no lessons have been learned.
McDaniel should have been fired not extended. Terrible organization. I guess the guy is a perfect fit for a soft team like this. Only team where a guy automatically misses 4 games from a concussion.
